The results are in for the Snivy Championship Unlike our tournaments in the past, this event had enough people to play in an age-separated set up. Juniors played separated while the senior and master divisions played together. There were a total of 18 people playing in the Snivy Championship.

Masters
1st: Derek C
2nd: Eric A
3rd: Sunny K

Seniors
1st: Eli N
2nd: Connor P
3rd: Alex C

Juniors
1st: Johnathan C
2nd: Beau L
3rd: Henry K

All players in 1st place received 5 backs of their choice, 2nd place chose 4 of their choice and 3rd chose 3. Everyone chose boosters from the new Black and White set, so that makes an entire box gone in just one event! Carl, the wild Burmy was on the loose again. The player who found him was rewarded with a booster pack of his choice, but he took it so fast that I didn't get to catch what it was.

See you at the Tepig Championship! July 22nd; registration begins at 5:00PM. Tepig will be in an unlimited format.

Something Tepig This Way Comes . . .

Tonight was the Tepig Championship. The Jefferson Gym saw a turn-out of 30 players from all around Charlottesville and the surrounding area including Harrisonburg, Roanoke, Fincastle and Fluvanna County. 30 is the most that has ever been seen for a non-premier event here. It was practically a Battle Road! All age groups played 4 rounds of swiss with a top cut of 2.

Congratulations to the following players:

Masters

1st: William A.
2nd: Alex L.
3rd: Chris M
Seniors

1st: Nathan S.
2nd: Alex C.
3rd: Eli N.

Juniors

1st: John C.
2nd: Chloe N.
3rd: Logan H.

All 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place players received 5 packs of choice, 4 packs of choice, and 3 packs of choice. All players in 1st place received a great ball, the leagues ball of choice. Those who found the Burmys Carl, Lenny, and Homer received 1 pack of their choice. Door prizes were available, as well: 1 pack of ultra-pro sleeves, an Eevee figure, a Tepig doll, and a Black and White portfolio.

Stay tuned for information on the Oshwott Championship -the final event in the first Charlotteville Championship Series. Oshawott will be held on August 13th -the date is no coincidence. If you don't get to, or can't get to, participate in the World Championship, then pay a visit to the Jefferson Gym for a sanctioned tournament, videogame side event, and maybe even another tournament.

FINAL EVENT: OSHAWOTT CHAMPIONSHIP, AUGUST 13TH
