I've been around. I've seen the good, the bad, the ugly, and the really ugly. Perhaps someday even I could become a super villain (albeit very unwise since lots of people know where I live). Point being, you never really know what could happen in the future. All you can really do is trust your instincts and hope any expectations are met.

I would like to bring forth ChubbyChilupa135. He agreed on a trade (2,222 C/UC for a FA Mewtwo EX). After me replying with my address, he wants to back out. Since he confirmed in my thread and I replied with my address, isn't that a done trade?

I would say neutral feedback should be left, and drop the trade. Looks like he pry just found out how much it is to ship 2222 bulk and realizes he cant do it.

He did pm you saying he wants to back out instead of not shipping at all, so benefit of the doubt.

Since the trade was confirmed and he backed out then you can leave him a negative ref.

Re-reading... Did he ever send his Address???

I think a rule should be If you are Sending FIRST, then you pm your address first, and then get the confirmed address to ship after.

That way, situations where he agreed to ship 2222 bulk in your thread, but never pm'd his address, and you just sent yours as soon as you saw it, it should be neutral ref. not negative...

Especially for bulk. Some of these people don't know till after saying to trade bulk how much it is to ship....

Yes i missed that. Since you sent your address and he did not send his then the trade was not confirmed. Since the trade was not confirmed with exchange of both address's then no ref of any kind can be given.
 
What do you guys know about... aznsens8ion54 ? We had a trade confirmed up to exchanging addresses and he all of a sudden quit answering my PMs. It's been 3 weeks now & I've heard nothing back from him.

He was pretty excited about the trade when I came over and bought stamps and toploaders to mail the stuff, but last minute I think he realized he didn't really need a full art mewtwo and got scared that he was trading away a ton of EXes and full arts.

Articuno33 hasn't replied to me either for a month now. I left a neg ref. :/... there goes my base set holo charizard :mad:
 
Has anyone had any problems with platinumwaiter? He and I confirmed a trade around the 14th of this month, I sent first with confirmation he received on the 21st. on the 28th I asked if he had sent his end and he replies, i gave it to my dad and he hasn't mailed it yet...I sent him lots of bulk and just don't want to get ripped, as you can see i'm pretty new here... any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've traded a couple times with him. The recent trade with him was a little slow but he came through. I asked last week if he had sent and he said it would be the next day and I received the cards by the week's end. This was a trade that was right before Regionals so I'm not sure exactly what the timeline was but it was kind of long. He did send exactly what was promised.
 
Ok cool. He did just contact me and give me a few codes to keep me happy for a few days lol. As long as everything makes it I'll be good to go. Thanks for checking!
 
Can I get a bad ref or be considered mail fraud, for not leaving a reference??
Sometimes I forget and I do all this on my phone.

You are not required to leave a ref for any trade. Not sure what you mean by the mail fraud part.
