I doubt the mods check them all, watching the dates on when the refs were made is more important imo, if a guy got 10+ refs on the same day thats a red flag, or if they are from alot of low itraders is another red flag.

Gabriel Pires is a HORRIBLE trader. I waited for so long for my cards and never recieved while I sent him 3 TROPICAL BEACHES. I feel so horrible
how long have u waited since the time he said he would send? ive waited for about a month already lol
either hes lying or the post office there really sucks...

Gabriel Pires steals and goes on with no remorse. I didn't trust him I just gave the benefit of the doubt, 5 EX cards, but I'll get them back or it will be much to pay for him.

And as is posted in his thread by me he is required to send first in all trades until i say different. Even if he has the most refs.
This is why I refused to send at the same time when you had zero refs. Even if you're an honest person, you actually diminish the usefulness of the reference system when you ask others to bend the rules.
Nevertheless, it is simply common sense -- do not send first or even at the same time to anyone who doesn't have a significant amount of recent refs (at least 15-20) if you care about your cards.

he targets them most of the time i say this because he did confirm a trade with my friend who has a ton more refs then he does so he does attempt to trade with Higher refs from time to time.
Edit: we did in fact get the cards from him today in the mail so its a hit or miss with him.

as of the time i confirmed my trade with Gabriel Pires, he had no negatives.
well, so far ive had 4 transactions on this forum. 2 of them i got ripped from.
never in my 6 years of trading have i been so upset.
i dont kno if its the forum or if im just unlucky, but i guess ill report this to the tribunal (with everyone else who got ripped by Gabriel Pires im sure), which probably wont solve anything...just like last time...
anyway, best of luck to the rest of u, and hope u dont end up trading with the criminals that hang around here.
i think im just gonna quit pkmn before i even finish my first deck and go back to mtg.

You really have to watch out for people with more than one neg ref. Always make them send first or don't trade with them.

My friend Scarlequin traded with Salamance but only receieved two empty toploaders. He sent 2x Magnezone Prime, 1x Flareon Star, Luxray Lv.X and Flygon Lv.X on 21/02/2012 , and Salamance agreed to send 2x Mewtwo Ex (FA) and approximatly another £100 of cards in return. Instead Scar recieved two empty toploaders.
Scarlquin is understandably furious and upset, he was decieved by an arrogant deceitful liar, and I really feel he should be banned from your trade forums permanently so he cannot inflict misery on any other traders.
Furthermore he was harassing me for tracking details and explaining how angry he was and that he would go to the mods if Scar didnt send soon, and then he has the complete lack of diginity to scam
