Has anyone traded with the following two people?

AtrusOfKrondor

vincat1

In both cases they were to send first and still nothing. The first one listed is in Kentucky and its has been six days. The second one listed is in Texas and its has been five days. Just makes me wonder since i get mail from Canada in 5 days. I am not out anything but am holding cards for both people that other traders have asked about tradeing for. I will wait another 4 or 5 days for both to see if i receive from them.

Usually, they say to give it a week or two before you really start to worry. You never know, he might have been delayed in actually mailing the cards. Now, the trade I asked about, it had been 2 or 3 months....

xXxAnthonyGxXx: In both your case and Unknown trainer's, you both are quite new - under one year. In this instance, you might want to consider how many references you or they have in other forums, how well your contact with that person has gone, and if you think they might turn out to be trustworthy or not. In this case there's no real hard and fast rule saying that the person who has joined the gym last "must" send first. My advice is to trust your feelings. But just make sure that whatever you do in that trade, that you inform the other person. Good communication during a trade is paramount - it'll mean the difference of a great trading relationship, ..... or none at all.

Or you can get an impartial middleman to conduct the trade for you. I remember when lugiaseeker was starting out that I was the middleman for all his trades. Some would gladly help for free; others might want something really small for their services. Make sure you have someone trustworthy though. Use that option if you really can't agree on who sends first.

One other option to consider is mailing the item with USPS Delivery Confirmation. That way either or both people have a way of tracking the item (obviously US only). There are two catches:

1) The package has to be a certain width otherwise you have to mail it Priority (USPS clerk recommended putting a 2 liter bottle cap in the package to accomplish this)

2) Needs to be in something other than an envelope (i.e. Bubble Mailer, etc)

This won't prevent missing cards or no cards in the package but at least there is a way to confirm the item has been shipped. I use this method on all the items I mail where people have won Ebay auctions from me.

Not everyone can afford the time or money for Delivery Confirmation. Asides from that, sometimes the postal workers won't give you DC unless you meet their 1/2 inch bubble/padded envelope requirement. And on top of that, they persuade you to buy DC with Priority Mail...>_< Ah, the many horrid postal experiences I've had. Now I just do Paypal shipping...

When you ship something first class with ebay using paypal it's only 14 cents for delivery confirmation plus you dont need to thicken the envelope. The problem of course is the cost of INK!

Sorry to ask again, but has anyone completed a trade with Weasel Zero? I've been waiting a very long time and haven't received. But he's sending first, so I don't know what to think.
I'm haveing some problems with him i sent my cards with Dilivery Confirmation and then he say he sent and it's been like two weeks. We are now trying to sort this mess out, so i'm not accusing him of anything.....yet.

I found a loophole around the "using eBay part." The cost of ink comes from work. But still...14 cents...

Like I said, it's been months. And in that time, he admited forgetting to send it, not having the cards, making a new deal, and STILL not sending apparently.

I think delivery confirmation costs like 35 or 45 cents... In order to meet the 1/2 inch is why I posted the suggestion about the bottle cap. Obviously this is an option and not the only option. Can't please everyone.

Well, Rambo1000 isn't answering my PMs, so I guess he's not even going to continue to pretend sending cards.

He owes me at least Celio's ah, Crystal Beach ah, DRE ah. The reason I say "at least" is that he has offered in the way of apology all kinds of other cards. He sent me a slew of cards for my Mew Ex LM, only some things got left out accidentally, or he didn't have them. The whole thing is weird. Even after all this, I don't think he's a bad guy. What should I do?

Rambo1000 has since stopped replying to my PMs. I have reported him, but since he was to send first and I am not out anything, I was told nothing can be done. So I listed him on my bad trader list to give people warnings with him incase they are sending first with him to be forwarned.
