Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Chuck's Hawaii States Report

My family and I went on our weekly vacation to Hawaii last weekend, and to my delight, I found out they were having the POKEMON TCG HAWAII STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS! Now, Hawaii isn't big into Pokemon, so the format was actually unlimted. I didn't being any of my cards with, since I wasn't expecting the tournament, but I managed to steal a young girls Base-Set Mewtwo while her back was turned, and borrowed 59 Psychic energy from the PTO, to make a nice Mewtwo Mulligan deck.

Pokemon: 1

1 Mewtwo

Trainers: 0

Energy: 59

59 Psychic Energy

Round 1 vs the girl whos Mewtwo I stole:

She kept on trying to tell everyone that I took her card, but I lied and eventually got her disqualified for being a bad sport. Apparently she isn't aware of the Spirit of the Game rules.

1-0

Round 2 vs American kid with no deck

Apparently, someone left him behind from the Tropical Mega Battle a few years ago. He kept on asking me to bring him back to the US, but I refused, and again, got him disqualified for being a bad sport. SotG bro.

2-0

Round 3 vs Ysuguyoshi Yamato w/Rock-Lock

Uhh ohh, the CHAMP IS HERE! Was I scared? NO WAY. At first, he didn't know that I was the best in the world, but he learned pretty quickly. I open with Mewtwo and start barriering. Since I have nothing for him to sand damage, and nothing to evolve for amphy to hit, I deck him and win EASILY.

3-0

So I make the finals, and have to play Ysuguyoshi Yamato again. He scoops, knoqing he cant beat the best, and I am crowned the 2005 Pokemon TCG Hawaii State Champion. Unfortunately, the volcano ate my trophy, so I still only have 2 =(. I know the guy that won the STS though.

Props to EVERYONE
Slops to VOLCANOS

props to winning the Hawaii state champs. Obv knowing someone who won an STS was the factor that allowed you to masterfully keep drawing energies to attach to mewtwo. SotG 4 LIFE

Good showing, with a very strong finish. You truly are the greatest this game has, Alex.

I hope this entire story was just a joke Chuck because...well...that sounds quite cruel to steal someone's Mewtwo card...

(Somehow) Congrats...

Oh and...Knuck if you Buck!

You mean the World champ wasn't smart enough to run Rocket's Tricky gym in a Rock-Lock deck? :x Serves him right, getting pwned.

Chris, he did play 1 Tricky Gym... but chuck messed up on his deck list. He techs 1 Vermilion City Gym and took it out immediately.

I see, I see. Very wise. :O I expect nothing less from the self-proclaimed best in the world. ^_@

I laugh at anyone who thinks this is real. Hey chuck look at my pics from Indiana in my report, I still dont know how to put up that video though...

I was the American kid stranded , but I was lucky and mailed myself home via Priority Mail.

Some topics like this just make me ROFL. And something tells me that there will be more than 3 Swiss rounds and the 15+ World champ would be in Hawaii when he lives in Japan, and already in going to Worlds 05.

And like no duh it's fake since it's really obvious.

Well this should really be in the appropriate forum.....
