That's the final update, good luck at States

Scorpidad, back on page 3, I asked how many events are hitting around the average, and how far off of the average are the other events? Can that information be updated with the complete data?

334 Events, ranging from 7 to 124 players, averaging 48

This shows the number of events that had a specific range of participants, each step is deviating from the average (mean, not median) by 12.5% of the average.

Code:
Range Events Percent
                      ________________________
30-35 39 11.7%__ \
36-41 46 13.8% \ \
42-54 86 25.7% > 36-60 164 49.1% > 30-66 220 65.9%
55-60 32 9.6%__/ /
61-66 17 5.1%________________________/

This is still a bell curve with events clustered closer to the average, but it got flattened just a little since the last one.

Since all the attendance numbers are in excel if this is not what you want, or if there is anything else you want, just ask.

That looks like what I'm looking for.

From that, it can be said that events with 42-54 players are "average" sized events?

Also, while you needed to be 100+ to get onto the "big ten" club, any event with greater than 66 players is actually truly "big," right? That number is lower than I thought it would be. I'm assuming that you cut the information off at that point because the number of events with greater than 66 and less than 30 (114 events) is so little or dispersed throughout the range that they all can be considered outliers.

I would call 42-54 as average. The high numbers really skew everything, as there is a large range of attendance with few events that carry that many players.

Here is a graph that shows the events/attendance numbers.
