This is a chance for players to experience the new format by Nintendo and play in a sanctioned event.


· Date: October 18, 2003
· Fee: Main Event $10.00, Side Events $5.00
· Location: Jenkin’s Auditorium
691 West Montrose St.
Clermont, Fl. 34711

· Registration Time: 10:00am until 11:00am
(To participate in the main event you must show up during registration time and enter the
event.) The event is expected to end around 3:00 or 4:00 PM.
· Lunch: A lunch will be available. If interested please bring some money for lunch.
Information you need to know for this event:
Gameboy Information
1. You must bring a Gameboy Advance or Gameboy Advance SP with a Ruby or Sapphire game.
2. Your Pokemon must be level 50 or lower. Banned Pokemon Kyogre, Groudon and Rayquaza.
3. You may only have one of each Pokemon and no duplicate items held.
4. No gamesharked Pokemon or gamesharked altered Pokemon allowed.
5. Prizes for the event will be based on the number of players in the tournament.
Pokemon Trading Card information
1. The Nintendo Modified format includes: Expedition, Aquapolis, Skyridge, EX Ruby and Sapphire and
EX Sandstorm card sets. Promos 001 and higher only.
2. This will be a Nintendo sanctioned event.
3. The Nintendo web address to get the format information is www.pokemon-tcg.com
4. Prizes for the event will be based on the number of players in the tournament.

You dont have to participate in both events,however both events count toward the final score.
 
That's not what I was told by Heidi Craig (The TO). In which case, I'm sticking to what I was told, that they are both seperate tournaments that have nothing to do with each other.

If that's what Heidi told you, then of course go with that. She's the one that gave me the original information, and I assumed it would be run like the R/S challenge. Sorry for the confusion.
