This deck is pretty skeleton but it seems like a great idea since all the decks this format seem to be based around stage 1 and 2 techs. So this deck is to stop Evolutions from happening while stopping them from attacking.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NV Card Translations
Cobalion (Basic Pokemon)
Type: :metal:
HP 120
Weakness: :fire:x2
Resistance: :psychic:-20
Retreat: :colorless::colorless:
Energy Press::metal::colorless: 20+ (Does 20 more damage for each energy attached to the defending pokemon.)
Iron Breaker::metal::metal::colorless: 80 (The Defending Pokemon cannot attack next turn)

Archen (Restored Pokemon. Can only be put on the bench with the effect of Plume Fossil)
Type: :fighting:
80 HP
Weakness :grass: x2
Resistance:
Retreat: :colorless:
Rock Throw :fighting: 20
Acrobatics :colorless::colorless: 20+ (Flip 2 coins do +20 for each heads)

Archeops (Stage 1)
Type: :fighting:
HP 130
Weakness :grass: x2
Resistance:
Retreat :colorless::colorless:
ABILITY: Each player can't play any pokemon from his or her hand to evolve his or her pokemon.
Rock Slide :fighting::fighting::colorless: 60 (Choose 2 of your opponents benched pokemon and do 10 damage to them. Do not apply weakness and resistance)

Plume Fossil: Trainer-Item
Look at the bottom 7 cards of your deck. You may reveal an Archen you find there and put it onto your Bench. Shuffle the other cards back into your deck.

Super Rod:
Trainer [Item]
Shuffle the combination of any 3 Pokmon and Basic Energy Cards back into your deck

Eviolite
Trainer [Pokemon Tool]
(Attach to One of your Pokemon that does not have a tool already attached)
If this is attached to a basic pokemon any damage this pokemon takes from attacks is reduced by 20 (Apply weakness and resistance first)

deck list
Pokemon (17)
1 Cleffa
2 Jirachi
3 Skarmory
4 Cobalion (Iron Break)
4-3 Archeops

T/S/S (29)
1 Super Rod
1 Pokemon Collector
2 Twins
2 Switch
2 Pokemon Catcher
3 Junk Arm
3 Eviolite
3 Pokemon Communication
4 Professor Oak's New Theory
4 Plume Fossil
4 Research Record

Energy (14)
4 :psychic:
4 :metal: (Special)
6 :metal: (Regular)

Communications are there over collectors since I'm running very few basics and Archen can't be brought out normally so I can just shuffle it back into my deck and hope it to pop up somewhere on the bottom. Jirachi is there in case I can't get Archeops out fast enough.
Skarmory is to get special :metal: on Cobalion faster. Cleffa is for hand replenish or refresh in case I get archen or archeops in my hand and baby wall so I can set up Cobalion.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I just played a deck just like this one online with some people, trying out my collection of Archeops (my favorite pkmn from B/W)

2-2 Scizor
3 Cobalion
3 Skarmory
4-3 Archeops
1-1 DCL
1 Jirachi

4 Oak
3 Cheren
3 Collector

4 Plume
3 Research Record
3 Communication
3 Evolite
2 Super Rod
6 Metal
4 Sp Metal
3 Psychic

t1 Oak/Cheren, research, plume for archen, Steel Coat w/ Skarmory
t2 Collector for Scyther/Cobalion/pkmn in hand to use communication for archeops/scizor
Cobalion Main Attacker, Scizor to stall even more if he goes up.
Jirachi to DeEvolve if I put up Archeops too late
DCL to deal if a Reuniclus/Plume goes up

The trouble with this deck, and any Archeops deck, is the fossil rules. they kill this card. Murder it. Dont get me wrong the deck survived, but if Archeops doesnt go up T2 then you have a lot of dead cards in your deck. It is a fun deck to play I'll admit and thats why I am going to keep it intact.

Updated the deck a bit.

Pokemon (17)

3 Pokemon Communication
4 Professor Oak's New Theory

What would you do against zecrom? I only wish that this deck could work.

your translation for super rod is way off. its a combination of 3 pokemon and 3 energy and they go to your deck then shuffle, not your hand ):

whoops. thanks for the correction. If that's the case I may just drop it for something. Cause the only energy I'd want back is the Sp. Metal.
