Regarding the discussion of 60 vs 75 (or longer) minute Top Cuts, I'd like to gather some data from those of you that made Top Cut in a Premier Event recently. This information will help us collectively determine better ways to improve the game! If you remember the results from several Premier Events you attended, you may tally the totals for all of them. However, if two or more tournaments allowed different amounts of time for match play, please answer them separately so we can help distinguish which time allowances allowed more games to complete.
If you recently made the TOP CUT at a Premier Event...
1) How much time was allowed for your Top Cut matches? (45m, 60m, 75m?)
2) How many matches (A 2/3 series is one match) did you play in the Top Cut? (For example, if you made Top 8, won to advance to Top 4, then lost in Top 4, you played two matches).
3) Of the matches, how many were not yet completed when time was called?
4) Of your Top Cut matches, how many went to a Game 3?
5) Of the Top Cut matches that went to a Game 3, how many were not yet completed when time was called?
