Yes, Dallas/Fort Worth, we have a new Pokemon League!!! :thumb: Matt, owner of "Comic Book Craze" in Garland, Texas is excited about hosting the "Pokemon Craze" Pokemon League. :cool: Below is the information for this new league.

MP Birch will be a League Leader for this store and we are looking forward to seeing you this Saturday, February 17th for the league's "Grand Opening"!!! Come and check out all of the play space. :biggrin: Playtest those decks for the upcoming "Texas~State Championship" and the "Oklahoma~State Championship". Do you need help in learning how to play Pokemon-TCG??? :redface: This is the place that you will want to attend. :thumb: Come and play with your friends and make new friends while playing the game that we love, Pokemon-TCG. :wink: We are looking forward to seeing this Saturday at "Comic Book Craze" to kick off their new Pokemon League.

Everyone who CAN show up NEEDS to show up! This store is in a fantastic location (right next to a Subway, but more importantly only about a mile from my house), has a great play area, and the owner, Matt, is STOKED about having Pokémon played in his store!

There will be a more official announcement later, but for now, plan on definitely being there for League on Saturday, March 17th. Matt is wanting to really welcome the new Poké-Players with an EX:power Keepers sealed pack tournament (complete with prizes) and lots of other fun stuff. I'll be sharing more details as they become available!

So make it a full-scale mental-health weekend. Start with some Madness in Plano on Saturday afternoon, head out to Garland Saturday evening for a Craze, and finish it off with some Insanity in Mesquite on Sunday!

Wow...What A PokeWeekend~Part 2

The "BIG~Pokemon Weekend" of leagues moved to "Comic Book Craze" on Saturday at 5:00PM. This is the newest store to host a Pokemon league in the D/FW area. Needless to say Matt, the store owner was pumped!!! :cool: "Spotter" was there and got some of the league cards from Matt. "Spotter" is the League Leader for this "Comic Book Craze" with MP Birch being the "Assistant League Leader". If you have ever met "Spotter", he is one Pokemon League Leader, player, and promoter of the game that you will never forget!!! :wink: "Spotter" is always smiling and laughing and willing to help anyone with their game.

After "Spotter" fills out the first bunch of cards, he sends MP Birch back to Matt to get more!!! For the first Pokemon League hosted by "Comic Book Craze" we had 14-players. :thumb: "Comic Book Craze" has quite a few play tables for their customers and league players!!! This place is awesome!!! :eek:

MP Birch actually gets to play a few games at league and had fun with the players that I normally do not get to play with. MP Birch goes 3-1 at the "Craze~Pokemon League" with my only loss going to Maddie. Great games guys and I had a blast.

We hope to see everyone next Saturday at "Comic Book Craze" to have more Pokemon fun. Have a good week!!! :biggrin:

We had a great time with all of the play space at "Comic Book Craze" last Saturday playing Pokemon at our new league store. We are looking forward to seeing you back today and bring your friends with you to enjoy all of the fun of playing Pokemon-TCG. MP Birch and Spotter will be there to help anyone with their decks or just to learn to play. Come and play Master Professor Birch. We will see you at 5:00PM.....be there!!!

Howdy, Poké-people!

This Saturday (March 3rd) is the date for the Texas State Championships, being held at Insanity Cards and Games in Mesquite. Registration starts at 10:00 a.m. and play will begin at 12:00 p.m. Why do I bring this up in the Pokémon Craze thread?

Because Master Professor Birch and I will be there (Insanity) all day working to ensure it is the best darn State Championship event in the country! As such, we will not be able to attend the regularly scheduled league time at Comic Book Craze. :frown:

But not to worry! If you can't make it out to the State Championships, Matt will have you covered with league play during normal league hours! So don't fret, you can still get in some solid time towards earning your Rainbow badge! :biggrin:

Saturday Evening, 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Just ask for Matt and he'll hook you up!

The North Texas Pokemon Leagues will run as usual for the weekend of March 9-11, 2007. MP Birch, Spotter, and Uncle Robb will be at the "Oklahoma~State Championship" in Del City, Oklahoma on Saturday. MP Birch and Mrs. Birch will be there from Friday night until Sunday afternoon.

The "Madness Games & Comics" Pokemon League will be ran by Mr. David and Chris H. The "Comic Book Craze" Pokemon League will be handled by Mr. Matt. And the "Insanity Cards & Games" Pokemon League will be ran by Mr. Tom.

If you attend these Pokemon Leagues, have fun and we will see you next weekend, March 16-18, 2007.

MP Birch Will Be Playing!!!

Come and play with MP Birch this Saturday, March 17th (St. Patrick's Day/wear green). This Saturday is the "Sealed Pack" tournament for "Comic Book Craze". Spotter will be the host for this tournament. Please check the "D/FW Pokemon" website for all of the details. We hope to see you there.

Easter doesn't start until Sunday, so join us Saturday evening for Pokémon Craze at Comic Book Craze! Finish out your Saffron City cards - Fuchsia City starts in just two weeks! Also. . .lots of rumblings in the air. . .what's going to be more exciting, the upcoming Diamond/Pearl set or the beginning of the Battle Road tournaments? Hang on, I almost forgot Regionals on April 21st! Holy Cow, so much to get ready for! Come on out, check out those decks, make sure they're in top form. As usual, I'll have my theme deck collection ready and waiting to teach any new players that are willing to learn!

Hey, folks:

Here's hopin' the Easter Bunny left a little something in your Poké-Ball this year. Whether he did or not, come join the fun at Comic Book Craze this Saturday starting at 5:00 p.m. We had a great turnout last week, adding 1 brand new player and dragging one inactive player back into the game! If we keep having this kind of attendance, rumour has it that regular sanctioned tournaments could become part of the schedule!

In the meantime, Regionals and Battle Road are just around the corner, so let's get those decks in tip-top shape!

Howdy, Campers!

The fun rolls on this afternoon/evening at Comic Book Craze. I'll be setting up shop around 5:00 for the weekly Poké-shenanigans. With Regionals out of the way, we get a couple of weeks to relax before Diamond and Pearl hits the streets and we get that integrated into our decks for Battle Roads!

Oh, did someone say Battle Roads? That's coming up soon, too, isn't it? Make sure you keep an eye on DFWPokémon to get the latest updated information regarding the wheres and the whens regarding these events!

Hey guys, I'll check with my mother to see if I can go to Sat. night league too. I might have to show up early since Madness ends a whole 2 hours before this one.
