what I'm tripping out on, is...what happend to two cards?? they didnt print the non holo version of "DEOXYS EX" or the Re-print of "RAY EX" from the EX EMERALD TIN GIFT BOX released in Japan...and I'm pretty sure that "TV" will be released in next set, so calm down...calm down!! cause "TV" was in most of the QCP decks, so that's why I'm guessing we'll get it...laters!!

C_Breeder, who says we will get TVR? I find TRs Mission is enough like it to not worry about it. We already have Bills, TR Mission, P. Cozmo and in the next set Mary's Request (which is another reason TVR will not be in it). So will all people wanting TVR just put it to rest!
 
tv reporter was in the emerald tin. thats why it was thought to be reprinted in this set.
personally, i would have liked to have seen it aswell.

Anyways, good job on finding out that the official website has all the cards. It is funny considering that there have been no prereleases yet. Also, I can say that rock-lock will continue to more than likely dominate.

With Battle Frontier and Milotic EX Rock-Lock is Toast.

The set may be as lame as TMTA I'll take that anyday.
I Top eighted in Gym Chalanbe w my Magma deck and my kid won with a Aqua Deck :)
 
Oh.... No Shinings, Added EX that we didn't know about (Altaria), No REX reprint.. No Normal Deoxys ex reprint..... Looks like y'alll should've listened to someone. This is just why I kept on mentioning Sandstorn and Dragon? WTH Altaria ex? Yup. Remember Aerodactyl ex.... Golem ex...... etc etc

Seems like some thing is missing from the list..... maybe Farfetch'd will be the boxtopper :biggrin:

Funny how no one believes me. Farfetch'd is last on the list, 107, so unless it's another secret card, it should be the boxtopper.

But with the shinings, I would be interested in finding out for sure. The spoiler I've got doesn't differentiate between "*" and non"*" Pokemon.
 
You have a spoiler that has Farfetch'd as 107? I guess that makes it the boxtopper. I believe you.
 
I belive you too, but I have an idea of the boxtopper too. This hasn't been confirmed, but seems reasonable like Ultramew's. I THINK the boxtopper card is:

Holographic TV REPORTER

It seems reasonable, as it was in the QCP's and Emerald tin, and isn't in the set. *Don't kill me*

Everyone said Kyogre and Groudon was really bad, but they have cool attacks.
Especyally Groudon's Eruption.
Even if this set sucks, I'm want to go to the prerelease.
 
The set is pretty lame. I don't care what anyone says, there aren't many or any good strategies with this set at all because there are barely any powers. Without powers, there are no combos. Gardevior and Swampert have powers that have potential of being combo'd with, but nothing really useful to begin with. Oh, heal 20. Wow, move a water energy from the bench to the active(which could be combo'd with stuff). All the rares and uncommons are horrible. The trainers are pretty nice, and is about the only reason to buy the packs. We all know that QCP was a horrible set, play-wise, and so out of the EX's, about 2 or 3 stand out to actually be alright, none being awesome, and the rest being horrible. Even the holo energy scream horrible. That right there is 6 spaces taken up for energy we already had and always will have, most likely because Nintendo didn't have any other cards to put in their place and they felt if they put the energy in the set, people would look past the horrible set and buy packs.

That's just my opinion. I'm going to attend pre-releases for the next set though, as it will be awesome, but that isn't until August or September. Right now, I can be content with 1 or none pre-releases because I can just buy the trainers out of the set on Ebay or some place, and save me all the money I would spend traveling around to places.
 
I just read that too about the swampert, and sigh'd because that means that another pokemon is useless in the set.

I am sure the pre-release will be fun, like always, but the set is horrible play-wise.

The more I was reading the spoilers, the more I was thinking of buying another deck instead of
going to the prerelease.
