Confirmation Lost World is in the new set

It's just another deck that uses a single attack to beat SP in my book. So SP should just tech in a Weavile or two (helps consistency anyway) and a couple dark energy, and it's good. I don't quite understand what people are missing about this lame format. SP can win autolosses (like Machamp) quite easily; I don't think it'll have a hard time finding the "magic tech" against LostGar. Or it can just win because it outspeeds it anyway. Many people in Japan were worried because of lists that looked something like this:

If this is confirmed, why didn't they make an announcement for the public, or at least release a scan of the english card on their website, instead of sending a single member a message
this is most likely fake,
however, it's apparent from recent years that OP don't give a damn about the game they are running, and don't take any notice in the actually play, so, it's very likely that lost world will be released.
The lost world thing is likely a way for pokemon to finally get the lost world game mechanic rolling, which has been slightly mentioned, but has never really asserted a place as a key game mechanic
But, if this lost world card is coming, we're stuck with it for a wholllee season afterwards, so hopefully OP release some more lost zone cards in black and white sets. Personally i'm praying for a stadium that states "While this card is in play, no cards can be placed into the lost zone".

Well, he shouldn't have shared the "news"... isn't he under contract?
Fulop's a great player, so my bit of a rant is in no way discounting that. I'll have to work on my own list and see how testing goes, but I have a hard time seeing how SP, a series of decks wholly known for their ability to outspeed and out-tech any deck in the format (including Machamp, which OHKO's everything in SP for 1 energy), simply cannot deal with a Stage 2 that "OHKO's" stuff for 1 energy.. like Machamp. Now, there's the chance that a Gengar can get 2 or more energy on it and send more than one Pokemon to the Lost Zone in a hit, but any good SP player will have ways to get Pokemon out of their hand (SP Radar, Bebe's, Junk Arm).
The other thing about Gengar is that it doesn't KO Pokemon on the field. When an SP player gets a Weavile up with the energy/resources to OHKO Gengar, there's little way for the Gengar player to KO the Weavile. So Weavile gets a KO, then another, then another, then... at some point the Gengar player won't have the resources to get another Gengar in play. With the previous build I shared that ran almost exactly like Jumpluff, swarming was no problem. Without Claydol, Roseanne's, etc., it'll likely fizzle out at some point.
Granted, I've done very limited testing with this type of matchup, but if someone can show me where my thinking is wrong, please let me know.
PS - isn't this like the billionth thread about Lost World/Gengar Prime?

A random writer for geekkids or something came in yesterday to Guardian Games here in Portland and had booster packs and two theme decks for Call of Legends. Lost World was included as well as reprints for UD Umbreon and Roast Reveal Ninetales and a trainer that allowed you to remove a special energy from the defending pokemon. I didn't really look at any of the other cards, because I was mostly upset that this lady was showing cards before the pre releases coming up. I'm sure others can confirm my sighting, I'll leave that up to them. Either way... yes Lost World is confirmed.

I saw an actual picture of a box on eBay meaning people have access to the boxes already apparently.
@ Everyone else: Shut up about the deck, we're talking about if Lost World was released, if you wanna complain about the deck, go to the other thousands of threads about it...yeesh.

I have no problem with him posting the information.
He didn't sign a Non Disclosure Agreement.
The PTO that sent out an email did.
Now, whether they gave out too much info or not (that doesn't seem to be clear, based on a vague email) is another story.

It's not about the deck, it's more about how Lost World will narrow your options in what to play even more.
Do I understand it correct that there is a THEME deck with Lost World included?
Did anybody grab the setlist which is included in those decks?????
I am also interested what else is in the set.

First off, I don't think this is great news for anyone. If you have been hoarding primes for the past 2 months and the deck turns out to be overrated, than you wasted your time/cards/money getting the gengars. If it turns out to be sooooo unbeatable, then it isn't good news for anyone because the game of pokemon will be ruined (at least for a season or two).
Ok, well, every deck takes skill to play. Luxchomp takes skill to play. What we as players want, is the game to return to when skill played much more of a factor. If lostgar is all it is hyped up to be, that will be 5 steps in the wrong direction for the tcg.
For one, I think 9/10 is pretty high. Anyway, if lostgar becomes a threat, sp will be played less, making 2-2 the "superior" play. Even if sp is still heavily played, I would use 2-2 because of lostgar.
False. It's tough for a gdos deck to consistently knock out primes anyway, so one karp prized just makes it an even 2 hits each time. Plus gdos has the incredible ability of discarding cards. It would be easy to search through your deck and lose more and more pokemon. Obviously if 2 karps are lost zoned, however, it is a completely different story.
Ok, but have you tested the matchup? Try your own ideas and see how they work. I have tried out my personal decks formated for lostgar, and I've had a lot of success.

I am a league leader at Guardian and while I will niether confirm or deny your post I ask that you refrain from posting about the content of the set, especially since you are, "upset that this lady was showing cards before the prereleases." If you're upset that she showed you something why would you go tell everyone else?

While you might feel you are not "allowed" to expose any information, you cannot demand this to others.
Most of all if the it's true about a "third" party having access to the new set and showing it.
I can understand somebody is upset because they don't expect anybody OUTSIDE the players/TO's having access to the new cards before the (pre)release date.

He is allowed to post, he posted it. Once it's out it's out and it's too late to do anything about this situation but if it happens again I'd like to try and keep it contained. It happens but out of respect for our PTO's who keep everything private I just don't want the 50+ people who attend league to have an internet hayday.
