so is darkrai lv.x a basic?
can u search it with rosannes?
can u search it with bebe's?
hunckrow lv.x can murkrows use his attacks with dark genes?

1) In the deck or hand, its just a pokemon. On the field, its whatever the original pokemon is. So darkrai lv X in play is a basic but otherwise its a pokemon.
2) No, see above.
3) Yes, it lets you search your deck for a pokemon, which matchs darkrai's criteria.
4) Yes, since it says on the card the lv X can use any attacks, pokemon powers, and pokebodies from the card under it.
5) No, it says on the card it has to be active to evolve.

On the last question saying you are going to evolve a pokemon into a lv.x can be confusing for some people. It took me a little while to figure it out. You should say you level up a pokemon into a lv.x they are 2 different things. And yes to lv. up a card the card has to be active.
