Is there any good pokemon (or Trainers) that can be used to counter SMP.
I might use it in my Ludicargo.
I have inly thought of one, that is Magcargo UF.

Any other better counter out there
 
A Ludicargo with Grumpig and Desert Ruins should do well against it. Magcargo is used to deal 80-100 to Scizor EX, Desert Ruins KO's it in a few turns, and Grumpig can KO the metagross. Just an idea.
 
Flaming_Spinach: Wow, it looks like it would, too bad we won't be able to play that for another 3 months!
 
Arcanine Ex will the main problem for those SMP in the future, but for now you may also try to use Desert ruin + Weezing DX ^_^ ohko for a very defensive Scizor Ex with 4 metal energy attach to it ^_^U ( but be sure it doesn't have an Oran berry attach to it ).

A simple Cargo from UF and some Ruins will hurt SMP. Ninetales won't help much cause of Metagross, and Grumpig dies to both Meta and Scizor and Deoxys.
 
Ludicargo is probably the best counter for SMP, since you can Tech any evolution line such as Weezing and Grumpig into it, plus it can use UF Magcargo and Desert Ruins.
 
If you don't play a counter to it, you lose. That's why Scizor ex IS broken.

Charizard ex
Weezing/Ruins
Salamence (D)
Magcargo UF
 
Toxic/Ruins is basically a natural counter, although not used as a counter it bypasses damage reduction effects, effectively countering Scizor. Of course Queen can beat Scizor, that matchup has a lot to do with who is the better player.

You can't beat Scizor with an "ordinary" deck.
 
Name a few "ordinary" decks that can deal 60 damage with some consistancy to Scizor ex after taking Metal Energy and Steel Wing into effect.
 
DX Magcargo with a scramble can deal 100-20 for 2 metal-20 for steel wing, and then rock next turn.
 
Yeah, with Scizor first taking at least 2-3 prizes, only for you to take only 1 prize and them to setup another Scizor.
 
SMP is an overrated deck in many respects.

Don't worry about it too much, DS is coming out anyways before cities, worry about new cards in that set more.
