Countering mega charizard.

I was thinking of cards that can counter mega charizard and i thought of was deck's that runs emboar in it could also run keckleon in it to counter mega charizard. Keckleons ability allows it to turn in to the same type as the active pokemon is and its attack allows it to copy your opponents active pokemon attack. Another pokemon that can counter charizard is mew ex along with emboar in the deck. Another counter for mega charizard is Zoroak from next destines. It simply copy's your opponent's attack and it only needs two collarless energy for it. If your playing a plasma deck you could run frozen city. But they could run the card black smith to take less damage. Witch that is a supporter card and it takes two fire energy out of your discard pile puts it on to one of your fire pokemon. And the person with the charizard deck could also run stadium cards also to knock frozen city out of play.

Nice looking out. Mega Charizard was going to be a problem for me but these are all hard counters. Thanks.

Emboar is a really good attacker (if you use "badboar") and can deal 150 damage. You'll still have to deal with Mega Charizard. Plus decks that can dump energy have almost no issue with dealing with safeguard.
