Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Cresselia Lv X aslo worth playing?

I no he would prolly only work in a pure Eeveelutions as a back up attacker or at least IMO
I no right? The problem lays that he would prolly only work where there r the Leafeon and the Espeon and Unbreon to support him cause I like the whole "I'm hitting u for 70 and maybe hitting ALL of their bench for 20 and I say no to ur powers... I like him but only if he's supported by his Eon bretheren

The Gallade/Cresselia combo seems kinda easy to play around, for a few reasons:

1. If you get hit with Gallade's attack, you choose the benched pokemon you send up.

2. If Cresselia is using Gardevoir PK for energy acceleration, it's probably going to be within most pokemons' one-hit KO range when it becomes active.

3. The deck would have a mono psychic weakness.

You can easily play around Gallade's cheap damage by either sending up pokemon that have already been damaged, or by sending up pokemon that haven't evolved yet and thus would only take 0-20 damage from Gallade's attack. Baby pokemon would be particularly good in this situation because you could just evolve that damage off.

So as long as your opponent isn't going to have a Cresselia Lv.X ready by their next turn, you can continue to manipulate the playfield to make sure Gallade can't spread damage with his attack. If you consistently keep bringing up the same pokemon that has already been reduced to 50 hp, the Gallade player will have no choice but to KO it with Gallade's second attack or waste their turn.

If Cresselia Lv.X sees play, I can see skill hack decks and Mew* seeing a lot more play. And people might start teching Clefable DP into decks that already use boost.

Something intelligent on here, for once. I agree completely.

And that's why Palkia LV.X + Snipers (most of the good snipers happen to be water, hm...) seems to be a good idea. Much more difficult to play around when your opponent can pull anything they want active each turn, their pokemon all have free retreat, and you're being either spread for cheap (prinplup) or sniped for cheap (Empoleon or Octillery. Personally, I think Octillery would be better here).

Only problem is the large amounts of LV.X, but that ought to be manageable with a good list (you'll need plenty of pokemon search with no powers to do so. Hm...).

And about energy problems for Water + Psychic deck, if you play Gallade, you're going to have to run something that'll hit Fighting Type as well to get his place damage counters until 50 HP left. :/

~~~~~~~~~
Meh, another thing that I've noticed looking at the Night Dashing set list in Japan.
There's a Gardevoir and a Gardevoir LV.X. Although you might not want to play the new Garde (unless it also has PsyShadow), what about the LV.X? If it has an interesting enough attack to make up for moments where Gallade fails (...Which really is just when you've done the reduce to 50HP attack on two pokemon. His second attack which takes psychic energy is there for a reason), then that'll make this MUCH more viable.
Just spitting ideas out...
I fail to see the logic in that, when all sending up a basic pokemon would do is allow the gallade player to simply OHKO your basic with its second attack, costing you a prize anyways. Then what? Do you play another basic and send it up too? You're sacrificing prizes to avoid sacrificing prizes. That definitely isn't the way to play around this deck.
Cresselia Lv X :psychic: 100HP
:ppowr: Full Moon Dance
This power can only be used once during your turn. Choose one damage counter in play then move it to another pokemon.
:psychic::psychic::colorless Moon Skip 40
If the Defending pokemon is knocked out from this attack you may take additional prize
weakness 2x:psychic:
retreat 1
Resistance 0
Its attack does mean that if you knock out an EX you do take 3 prizes. I think has just a little promise.:wink:
what do ya think?
Jon, they are Bangiras translation and his translations are usually put up on the gym so please dont blame on the gym members and please let the gym members have the free use while discussing the cards/deck combinations.
First off, Bangiras is a girl. Secondly, when she gives content to me, it's for my site, not the Gym. She translates the final set and gives them to both sites, but before then, she only gives stuff to PokeBeach. If she wanted to give stuff to the Gym before then, that's her decision, but for now, it's not the Gym's content. Thanks.
But you can't copyright the content, and discussion will sooner or later leak onto other boards.
Well, Bangiras said my previous reply was fine, so she obviously agrees with me. I don't put comments on my site about stealing for my own health, and only for people to ignore them. If you are going to take from another site, follow what the webmaster asks. :/ Doing the exact opposite doesn't exactly favor you, and it makes me look bad when I have to come to ask and enforce such things.
D00d, they gotta get the information from your site in the first place, and I can't speak for everyone, but when I get information on here, I usually go straight to your site to read it again.
I could understand you wanting a link to your site in return for information, but random posters aren't going to do that when they copy and paste your words onto their forums.
What'cha going to do? Make your text un-select-able? You could probably do that in CSS though...
I'm probably going to die over Leafeon X. I'm already looking at a pretty formable and fast building deck right here:
Eevee to get more Eevees out,
Weaviles to get double dark NRG each turn,
Celebi to get grass NRG each turn
Espeon for its 20 HP boost to all EVlutions,
and Leafeon X, able to take advantage of ALL that extra energy.
What's Leafeon's max power level?
IT'S OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!!!!!
O-NOEZ!
All joking aside, I really think that Leafeon really fits in well with pokemon like Celebi and Weavile, not to mention that Weavile SW covers both Celebi's and Leafeon's weakness.
WPM
its just a translation
seriously, take a chill pill and wash it down with a tall glass of sour grape juice =/
So, when you "rat" out PUI/OP by putting info on your site BEFORE the release date and BEFORE the general public is to know it.....you aren't "stealing" from PUI, eh? You call the kettle black, I call the pot black. :nonono: :nonono: PUI has clearly asked you for your "source" and to stop the early release of their "intellectual property" and you refuse to do so! Just one man's opinion. **steps off soapbox**
