I want to ask this question because of how the card is worded. Crystal Wall says that Black Kyurem maximum is 300. Does this mean when the card is attached that Black Kyurems remaining HP of 180 will remain 180 but you can heal up to 300 HP or when its attached, Black Kyurem's HP will become 300?

Another thing is Aspertia City Gym and Giant Cape give +20 hp so it adds 20 more HP to a Pokemon's remaining total. 120 becomes 140. As for Black Kyurem, it just says its max HP becomes 300. Just asking to make sure I can give the correct info on the card when its asked at league.

pokemon have full HP minus the amount of damage counters on it.

so black kyurem ex has 180HP minus 2 damage counters = 160HP
if you attach a crystall wall it will have full 300HP minus 2 damage counters = 280HP

Pokémon don't have a current HP; they have max HP and damage counters. If the damage counters exceed the maximum damage when KOs are checked, the pokémon is knocked out.

They also have "remaining HP" which is max HP - (damage counters * 10). It is rarely used but some cards reference this.

The reason they didn't is probably because there might be another Black Kyurem EX printed with a Maximum HP of 200 for example. This way, the Ace Spec caps it out at 300HP no matter what the cards printed in the future say.
