do you get to choose the pokemon your opponenet switches with
example in play ralts
on bench kirlia and gallade
can i attach the energy and pull up the gallade as my choice

If you read the card, it says your Opponent chooses the Benched Pokemon to switch.
So, that's pretty clear. You don't get to choose.
If you are playing 2-on-2, you would get to choose which active.
