Some times people get awards for who they are. Bill Murray got one for Lost in Translation. It was the second worst movie I have ever seen. I like Bill Murray and most of his movies but the one he got an award for was just charity.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Oh the worst movie for me was something by Madonna that did not make it out of the can but I think went right to blockbusters. Since blockbusters had highly recommended it I got rid of my blockbusters account.

I thought Lost in Translation was a great movie. :frown:
 
Okay, I have seen the following Movies so far this year (only mention the ones that I think can win "best pic")

Spidey 3 - I liked it however it wasnt the best of the of them but I do think it was better than Pirates 3
Pirates 3 - Liked it but it was a bit too long and their were like 20+ story lines to keep track of.
FF4 2 - Was nice short and good. I enjoyed this the most since it was the shortest, but I thought a little less Makeup on Jessica Alba would of been nice. Otherwise it was fine.
Die Hard 4 - This has been the BEST MOVIE I have seen this summer. It was amazing.


I havent seen Transformers but plan to. I am going to see HP5 tonight tho.

I seen it yesterday...it was tight,I am seing it again Wednesday. I am thinking this has been and will be the best Harry Potter movie ever...it will blow 6 away and depending on how HP7 ends(hope he dies)

It is obvious that Transformers is a very VERY good movie...It is better than Spiderman 3 easily and takes the cake over Pirates aswell.

The actors are good, the scenes are great and the action is unstoppable...all-round its a great movie...id pay to watch it twice easily...recommend it to other people 100%

Well done for fan boys and newbees.

My wife and daughter went into it thinking its just another of Comic based sci-fi movie that they tagged along for. They came out fabbergasted and texting friends, "its a goto see movie". My son and I already knew it was going to be good, but not that good.

Everything was right on cue and a feel good movie for anyone to enjoy, the audience laughed at times and was dead silenced from the startled moments too. And talk about at the edge of your set action from one scene to another. Crazy how they fit it all together so well.

I'm seeing it at last a second time if not more and buying the works when it hits DVD.

I felt the same way because the trailer in all honesty sucked!!!!! I still wanted to see it though and I felt this was just going to be an action movie with no polt whatsoever, turns out there was non stop action and a very well thought out plot. They're so making another now.
Side note...my dad said this movie broke a couple records..I don't know what they are but I beleive him.
