I played my empo deck @ 3 BRs...1st one i got 2nd, 2nd on i got 3rd, and the 3rd one i got 2nd agian.....i lost the 1st and and the third one due to time...........go with the
Empoleon MD-2
Empoleon DP-1
Empoleon LVX

The DP comes in handy....trust me...but i have 2 cc tech.......but i say run atleast one

I mean I am running 2/2 of each empo in MY Cess. deck. but Empo DP is STILL very playable, guys. I have been running him for a LONG time, and I havweran the NEW one since it came out, and it is FREAKING awesome. Like I was saying earlier though, it doesnt work well with CESS, at least 4 of them dont that is why I switched back to 2/2!

I ran this with a couplela weeks ago and aerodactyl is definately needed. This deck is sooo fun! I love looking @ damage counters all over the place!!!

An omastar is helpful late game. First you spread damage on all bench, then you play him and kill all of his bench. Just make sure not to use all rare candys until you play omastar. Killing all his bench with a power would really rock.

dont need claydols in emposong

keeping it simple works the best in a spread deck

if you focus too much on setting up draw speed your not gonna do enough damage to win

What if I used Aerodactyl as a 2-2 line instead of Bronzong?

And can both Omastar MD and Aerodactyl MD evolve from Mysterious Fossil???

The old ones do though. Why did they change it?

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Anyone know the ruling on this?

Just run the You dont NEED omastar OR Aerodactyle, dude! This deck is Efficent as it is, IME!

Neither can evolve from Mysterious Fossil.
Does it say "Evolves from Mysterious Fossil" on the card?
No, it says "Evolves from Helix Fossil/Old Amber"
They are not the same card, so its obvious that they can not evolve that way.
On a side note, Old Amber isn't a fossil. Does it say "Fossil" in its name?
No
So its not a fossil.
Its really not that hard to grasp all of these fossil mechanics, C'mon people.

Okay, I asked it in the ask the masters forum. I know the correct answer now xD.

So, any suggestions on the deck? Not rulings............

I tested this deck quite a bit before BRs yesterday. Its main problems are

A: Inconsistency, between setting up Empoleons and using Bronzong to cover, your lines end up confused and incomplete.

B: Not enough search cards, once you've burned through your Bebe's you end up weak and unable to recover easily.

I ended up playing EmpoStar which got me 2nd place ( lost to GG :frown: ) because of those things.

I would say (as people have said before) play 2-3 Zapdos instead of Bronzong and put Chatot and Omastar in.

Zapdos helps you in a mirror match and can spread with much less work than Bronzong.

Chatot is a BEAST! It allows for double hand turn over with Wager and can survive a hit from a flipped out Gallade.

Play 3 MD 1 Lv. X, Lv. X won me 2 games and Supreme Command/Wager/Chatot/Omastar are an awesome team.

JMO, hope this helps!
