Dark Dragonite

Dark dragonites power staes that you can move dark energy and according to a recent ruling you can move rainbows, dre's etc.
I was just wondering why you can do that even though rainbow energy provides dark energy but is not a dark energy card

While in play, it is considered a card of every type that it is providing energy for.
It's just never considered a "Basic XXX card" which doesn't come into play for thes Trans-type Powers.
