if i use dark slumber (the attack that does 10) and the defending pokemon is knowcked out or switched before the end of my opponents next turn, will the new defending pokemon be asleep at the end of my opponent's turn?


i really need to know this for it affects what deck i will be playing

No. The effect is on that specific Pokemon. If it's no longer there, it is wasted
