DCE in Genesect/Virizion

Recently I've been testing out some genesect/virizion lists. Recently I made a list with 2 DCEs thrown in the deck. The point of this is to easily use G-booster's effect at least two turns in a row. The only other way to use G-booster two turns in a row would be a manual attach and Colress machine ( because you discarded 2 energy the previous turn). Discarding a DCE instead would make getting 2 g-boosters off in 2 turns much easier. What do you guys think about this idea?

Discard 2 Energy attached to this Pokémon. This attack's damage isn't affected by any effects on the Defending Pokémon.

Colress Machine is much more efficient than DCE. It's Skyla searchable and does not use your energy attachment for the turn. Plus if your opponent discards it via hammer or Drifblim, you're only out 1 energy, not 2. I would think speed is what Genesect/Virizon decks should go for before anything else, because if fail to attack as early as turn 2, pressure from Kyurem and other attackers kill your strategy.

Yea, the use of DCE requires at least 3 turns unless your using Plasma Badge to get a T1 Emerald Slash, which to me takes too much to get going and is more inconsistent than just manually attaching grass and Colress Machine plasma energy.
