Dead Batteries

Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else:

I got my emerald version a few days after it came out and a few weeks ago.. I go to turn it on and get the message "The internal battery has died".... so no more berries for me

has this happened to anyone else? and does anyone know how/if there is a way to go about getting this fixed?

It happened to me on my Sapphire version. Supposedly there's a way to fix it if you have the bonus disc that came with Colosseum pre-orders. The only other way I know, is to completely start over.

The internal clock update is also in Fire Red and Leaf Green...

It might be debatable as to whether it would work with Emerald or not...

I say test it out

These are 2 seperate issues. The trick in which you refer too was to fix the glitch in RuSa. A dry/dead battery is something else entirely. You may try to get ahold of Nintendo on this, if it bugs you to not be able to raise berries, use Lotto, and a few other things. I am sure there are places to replace the battery, but I couldnt begin to tell you where unfortunately
