Decks likely to be seen at States

So, I was thinking about what deck to use at the upcoming state championship when I realized that this will be the first states championships tournament that I have ever gone to! I would like some feedback on what decks are going to be common to see, or what decks are going to be unlikely to show. I was thinking of using my favorite deck, Amphylock, but I think it might be a touch to slow for states, but I don't know what will be at states!

Hi, IMO :

DialgaGarchomp (DCE)
Flygon (DCE)
PLOX (DCE)
Gyarados (collector helps here a lot IMO)
Rain Dance decks
and maybe Cursed Gengar (here I am not sure)

what is PLOX?

would you think gechamp or mother gengar would be at states?

Not really. DCE speeds up other decks that usually gave Gengar the better edge with speed. If you see a lot of Jumpluff, Gyarados, SP decks, and all of the starter primes then go for it. I just think Donphan will be played a lot and that's going to be a bad matchup.I wouldn't consider it to be in the top tier decks because all of those matches aren't heavily in your favor.

Oh, you just named every deck you could think of. :D Giratina? Seriously? Here's a bit more condensed list:
- Donphan
- Flygon variants
- Gengar variants (Cursegar & Shadow Room)
- Garchomp SV
- Kingdra
- Rain Dance stuff
- Gyarados
- All manner of SP variants
- Charizard AR
- Typhlosion w/Ninetails
- Jumpluff HGSS

There are probably some decks I'm excluding, but those are big players.

I am so happy! The only weakness for my deck is gyarados which can be dealt with but it might need something...
edit: kingdra but I doubt many people will run that! Hopefully I won't run into any Gyarados either and I might have a chance at owning everyone.

POLITOAD666- huh, Rain Dance Stuff...very condensed. So, you don't think Gardevoir/Gallade will show?

HATTER- I'm sorry, but I think Politoad's list is slightly easier to read!

I tested it for a little while and Giratina is actually kind of decent (emphasis on the kind of), DCE helps it out alot. I mean, it's not Tier 1, but it has a good amount of disruption if it gets off the ground.

I'm surprised you didn't pull out Skittles from that list, unless I'm missing something HUGE(spiritomb) I don't see how it has become playable at all.
