nothing on this site makes me laugh as hard as comming to this thread and seeing how everyone is laughing at hurricane (like me). its the only one that i think is funnier than mario and kricitune.

honestly i dont see hurricane doing much to decks with a lot of hp/stage 2s that set up fast. it cant get back all the energy fast enough to keep the string of OHKOs going that is so claimed that it can.

ok you need 8 energy in your hand to 1 shot Kingdra. That's saying they only have 1 Kingdra out with no Buffer Piece or anything.

But by the time you have 8 energy that you can just throw away like that, any respectable Kingdra deck will have out atleast 2-3 Kingdra.

this means you need atleast 9 energy to 1 shot it. That's still without Buffer Piece.

And I've seen you say in other topics that you just use Gatrs second attack to soften the defending pokemon up. Good luck doing that to Kingdra when your second attack is only doing 30 damage.

And it's been said a million times, but when they TGW you it's going to be very hard to get 8 energy in hand to KO Kingdra.

You could just check his Premier Rating online. That'll tell if he was victorious or not...

If I battle one, I'll post how it turns out.
 
Yeah, still be interesting to see. I mean Blissey works as a type of energy acceleration for Vire. May not work but who knows, I think It'll just be fun to get my butt kicked by all different types of decks.

I'll just say that I have ways to beat kingdra. And FYI, I didn't say that it would be and easy matchup, all I said was that Gatr can OHKO it. Do I think that Gatr can win? Maby, it depends on their deck, and how fast I cand get set up.

I have ways to get around this problem.

To me, Hurricane is just another deck. It doesn't seem all that special to me.... *shrugs*
It doesn't have a very good method of keeping water energy in the hand, or, from what I've seen.

You'll see how I do it, once I post the deck article I have bin working on.

Everyone will just have ot wait and see how the deck does. And by "deck' I mean not just me. I have no idea what the metagame in my area will be, it could be great for gatr or horrible. Lets just stop argueing and wait and see what happens.
