My strategy is to use Charizard to stall/discard plenty of energy and then use delcatty to KO once I have enough discarded energy. I am just now getting back into the game and am unfamiliar with most of the new decks (I stopped playing at the Rocket Set). I appreciete any suggestions. Oh, and would Magcargo ex be a better choice?

GG, takes delcatty as 2 prize way to easily, it seems that charizard can work but it just doesnt, know offence.

Also, is there any way i can modify my deck to use cards from only HP, CG, DF, PK, and D&P sets?
The league by me just told me that they dont like to use deoxys and such anymore and might make us use only D&P sets soon. =(

In september the format will be DP-On so only cards from DP sets will be modified. But this is only for tornoments. You should be able to use any cards in league.

I wish that were so, but the store-owner told me only D&P. Kind of a bummer because I only have a handfull of D&P cards and no particularly good ones.. Like 3 booster packs worth of junk and a promo Pikachu. -_- D&P uses the Lv.X cards, right? I think I was looking at the Holos once and thought the Crow was decent.. Mukrow or something.

Edit: I'm actually going to a Legends Awakened pre-release tomorrow morning so hopefully I'll snag something good to start a DP deck on.
