Destiny Bond Question

How would Destiny Bond work in a double battle? If a pokemon used Destiny Bond on both of the opponents, would they both faint when the pokemon fainted? Or are you only allowed to use Destiny Bond on one pokemon in a double battle?

I mean if you are in a double battle. If you used Destiny Bond Bond on one opponent and then the other opponent, would both be knocked out when my pokemon gets knocked out? Or are you only allowed to use Destiny Bond on one opponent, even in a double battle?
 
Destiny Bond only affects the pokemon using that attck, thus whichever of your opps attacks kill you will kill that pokemon that KO'd you.
 
Not to mention that Destiny Bond only lasts until your next attack, so even if you could target a certain Pokemon, there is no way to target both of them at the same time.
