Dialga G fobia

I'm tagging this thread so I can get my "I told you so's" in after states ends.

Stop underestimating Palkia G X. It will outperform the average player's expectations.
 
I actually think Palkia G Lv. X is good, it's just that it can help your opponents out too much. Sure, I would LOVE to get rid of that Uxie/Azelf that is stuck.

Ampharos will not be as big as feared as it will not win events. The games will be funny slow as there will be no Claydols, or Uxies, or or other drawing powers, but it will still be about who can do the most damage the fastest. A pure MD Empoleon deck will toast Amphy.

We will see Dialga Gs in lots of decks to shut down the obvious leafy combos, and we will see it in Regi and the G team decks as the answer to 1-1 Mewtwo. The decks with heavy reliance on powers, like Dusknoir will probably tech it in, just in case Amphy comes along.
 
Ampharos isn't the only reason people play Dialga G. Mewtwo, Leaf decks, among other things, are shut off by Dialga G Lv. X.
 
Dialga G is good, but we all know it isn't invincible.

I expect set up deck like Torterra to have a tough time against it ,but T2 decks like Scizor Cherrim and Speedril/Shaymin should get to your opp. before their Dialga messes you up.

I've tested this. Galactic has an AMAZING matchup against Scizor/Cherrim. Like unstoppable. Dialga G X is REALLY not that hard to get out.

If anything Torterra would have a better matchup because Forest Mumurs can warp Dialga G active.
 
This thread reads interestingly, in hind-sight...

Particularly with so many people worrying about how to make Dialga G Lvl X Active...

So... Palkia is crap, and Dialga has no use except Mewtwo. I guess trading for those Palkias and Dialgas was SUCH a bad move JUST so I could 9-0 states...

Ya, Palkia and Dialga soooooo deffinitly suck... I guess that must be why they win so much. *facepalm*

Do you guys actually ever look at cards before posting stuff like this? If I had room I would sig you both, but I don't. :tongue::rolleyes:
 
Pika, there isn't enough sig room in the world to contain the number of dialga/palkia bashing quotes I've seen on this forum.
 
Dialga G some ideas are specail conditions to break the lock use ur trainers and get set up. You can also kill dialga using weekness lol if you have a fire poke in your deck that can one shot it the dialga they would be a fool to allow you free prizes while doing small dmg to keep the lock. The only thing they are trying to do with dialga is slow down the defending decks set up so they can build up and over run them. Dialga did well because people didnt know how to play vrs it and meny still dont but the better players will have an answer or they will not make top cuts. Sugestions run less trainers more draw (supporters). I cant say more untill after this weekend =]

True... I just tend to forget exactly how many people don't actually even know what a card does before they post how good/bad it is. lol

Actually, the more people like this that show up at my states, the better. *evil grin*
 
You still have to wonder if is hindsight or FORESIGHT. Did the bashers top-cut with Palkia/Dialga? No accusations, I didn't even read who posted...but still I wonder.

So yeah. I feel ashamed now.
 
It's foresight for anyone who did well with it, hindsight for everyone rushing around the gym trying to build it.

As sad as it is, I do think that most of the bashers really believe what they were posting. Now their all panicking that they can't beat Palkia/Dialga, and making all these threads. :lol:
 
Isn't there some unspoken law about never making Legendaries good. :p The best way to beat these cards are probably through weakness or Machamp.
