Dialga is invincible?

A lot of decks can win. It all depends on the player that is playing the deck. Gechamp, Machamp, Gengar, and AMU are still very good competitors in today's format.
 
Most Dialga G deck play Toxycroak. But I think that Dialga is no invincible, but it gives other decks a harder time to beat them.

^ what pika said. Most of the "mainstream" decks are dialga weak...that's why it's good. To beat it consistently you'll need to think outside the box.
 
Yeah...no. Good luck ever getting both of those out with energy through a deafen lock. I understand the idea, but it's not going to work. Too much going on at once.
 
I've tested it myself and it runs just fine through a deafen lock. Mewtwo is merely a tech. You only need a 1-1, 2-2. You can deal with the other problems in other ways.

Theres also Infernape to think about, in case people are forgetting his existence so soon.
 
Um... Dialga's not invincible. Machamp can donk it with a little luck. And tons of other decks can beat it, too. It's a good deck, but it's by no means "invincible."
 
Infernape is very lackluster compared to just about everything else in the set.
And good luck ever getting what you need with that much crap in flygon.
 
Man, i played against this for the first time at league the other night, and that deafen lock is BRUTAL. I think every deck should tech in a houndoom G and that should suffice...
 
I imagine mirror matches are down right boring.

Player 1: I do 0 damage to Dialga G w/Special Metal... but now you can't play any trainers or stadiums.
Player 2: Ha! I do 0 damage to your Dialga G w/Special Metal... but now you can't play any trainers or stadiums either.

Arg... 9 turns later, still no K.O.! Thanks to Special Metal Energy! :tongue:

Why didn't I put any supporters in my deck?!
 
Dialga G is a good card, but it's by far not invincible.

Yes, Deafen can be a major pain but just weather it and eventually maybe your opponent will second-strike you? ._.
 
I've managed through enough Deafens at regionals to know that while it is problematic, its far from unbeatable.

Ape is not lackluster, maybe if people actually try other things than the mainstream, we'll get somewhere, no? I mean, if you want to just buckle down and let Dialga own you, be my guest.
 
Me and my brother have tested it against alot of decks.

Tyrannitar has a 60/40 matchup,

Although it's body is shut off, once they attach enough to one T-Tar to 1HKO anything then Unown G it - they can use Pokehealer twice to make any attacks in that deck useless.

AMU beats it, Houndoom techs certainly hurt it.

For Machamp to have a better matchup, it needs to be a speed build - built on the T1 donk. Once Dialga can get Croak/Tank and a stadium going with Lake Boundary - your job is made alot more difficult.
 
ya dialga g is pretty creative it take some ,well alot of playtest to learn the deck inside and out so but it has a good shot against houndoom cuz it normally cant ko it in one hit cuz they usually have sp metal on it so thats out then machamp would have tough time considering alot of builds have unown g in it cuz normally when they deafen lock first turn it takes 3 turn to lv up normally then by that time the machamp would have 4 on it from hq so and then remove lost the scraps ,also mewtwo a very very verrry bad idea lol .. againsnt dialga of course lol.amu will have just as hard of time cuz of toxi or dialga itself koing it 1 hit either way with tank lol and any other stage 2 deck are no good either so really dialga g is pretty unstopable but not literaly you just hope you get 2 go 2nd for the donk lol
 
I don't think any card or deck can ever be labeled invincible; there's just too many variables there. Who's playing it, what cards are prized, what the opening hand was, card placement, mistakes, etc.

However, it is a very good deck. I've played it many a time, and lost to it most of those times. There are still plenty of ways to beat it, though. Specifically, I've seen Machamp and AMU do fantastic against it.
