Diamond/Pearl compatible with PAL versions of R/S/E/Fr/Lg?

Hi! Does anybody happen to know if the USA version of Diamond/Pearl is compatible with the PAL (European) versions of Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/Fire Red/Leaf Green? So can I e.g. catch my Pokémon from PAL Pokémon Sapphire in the Pal Park of the USA version of Pokémon Diamond?

Sorry that I ask but I live in Finland and would really appreciate that information since I'm going to buy the USA version... .

It works, Serebii (from www.serebii.net) confirmed it. the game is LANGUAGE-Locked, not region locked.
