What's the best way to get rid of the fat on your Thighs, Stomach and partially
lower back?

BTW, i don't like eating most veggies.

Cardio workout is the only exercise that burns fat.
Increasing your metabolism will help burn off fat all day.

A simple way to cut down on fat intake is to:
stop drinking soda. switch to kool-aid, even (it's what I did) or gatorade
stop eating fast food of any kind. no fried, burgers, pizza, anything take out.
no candy. no big sweets like brownies or cupcakes or stuff like that.

Another good thing to do is to do a fast. A nice fast will remove all of your fat, and then your stomach also decreases in size. The health benefits are amazing. After the fast, simply eat smart (like the above) and continue to work out.

The thing that has been working for me is:

No soda, only water.

You can eat fast food, but NO fries, and order less of what you normally would eat.

Cut out most sweets, but dont be afraid to induldge in a little chocolate here and there. Just make sure it can fit in the palm of your hand.

Exercise. I am currently doing 30 min of stairs witha 15 lbs. backpack, 30 push ups, and 60 sit ups before bed, and I am losing a lot of weight. Plus it feels good to exercise, makes you feel like a better person.

Dont be preassured into eating something you dont want.

Have willpower. It will be tough to resiest that birthday cake, and if you must eat something, eat it in very small amounts.

I started around October, and I have lost about 14 pounds. That may not seem like much, but I didn't have to lose that much in the first place. If you need to lose more than 40 lbs., I suggest dieting pills/other diets.

GL man!

It's funny that this thread has popped up. Very soon I will be changing my eatting habits too and with the gift of a brand new treadmill from a man on my city's government council, I have plans to exercise daily and lose 50 pounds by Origins. I'm shooting for 100 by origins, but I'll happily fall back on 50.

I hear fruits are fine for you. And I hear vegis are too. Fast food is horrible in every shape in form IMHO, and they honestly don't offer many alternatives for the people on a diet.

Water is one of god's glorious gifts. It's pure in so many ways and is very healthy for you. Look to water over any beverage, and if you need a little sweetness to it, try adding some lemon juice and a little sugar to it. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade!

Part of losing weight is mental. Keep track of how much you weigh and weigh yourself every week to see how much you've lost. If you believe in yourself, you feel you can lose the weight, and you're ready for a lifestyle change, you've already fought half the battle.

Good luck!

Not sure if sweating helps you lose weight, but if so - do around 50 40 yard sprints a day. I do, and I am maintaining my weight around where I want it. Don't eat many sweets, or candy either - really hurts.

*If you can't run 50 40 yard sprints, don't feel bad. I thought I wouldn't have been able either, but in my Junior year playing Fball, it was easy*
And to be honest, 50 isn't a lot, lol.

I have done this, I stopped drinking soda (maybe 1 soda or so every 2 weeks or so but only 1 can or bottle) I drink only water when I used to drink soda. I have lost over 25 - 30 lbs since I started in late 2006. I still eat fast food and everything but since I am not drinking soda I am still losing weight,
Drew

actually when I broke my arm from a soccer practice I was out for 2 in a half years because the break was so bad, I couldn't move much without a ton of pain but I got a belly after that, so I did 500 situp and cruncher everyday. 250 crunchers in the morning and 250 situps, then the same thing at night. Also another way to get rid of that fat is actually stratching, beleive it or not it helps.
I have a question, can anyone give me a link to a soccer dietary thing please, I can still lose about 5-7 ilbs to get back to 150.

Well, I always drank died soda, but I cut back on that to get my motivation and confidence up.

I just dont know how anyone could drink actual soda, so much sugar...

And a hint to everyone, dont start at 500 sit ups:lol:

Work your way up, dont go all out in the begining.

You don't necessarily have to stop soda entirely. You don't even have to drink diet sodas. I have stopped drinking regular sodas and am drinking the ones sweetened with splenda that usually have the zero or one label on them ( Pepsi One, Coca Cola Zero, ect.) They have very little harmful attributes. Takes a bit to get used to, but you'll never go back once you get used to them.

If your willing to stick with it, you could try the all protein diet.It involves only eating things high in protein with lots of water.(eggs, turkey, cottage cheese, ect.)

Does Canned Iced Tea Classify as Soda? Also I way 225 lbs for a 6' 0
height. I'm lookin to Slim Down to like 170-185. I can't seem to lose weight
even if I do Crunches/ SitUps. In September or so I was doing like 250-500
Crunches a Day and about 250 Pushups a Day. I don't think those work. Also
would Juice and Iced Tea classify as a " Water Beverage".

Ryan Vergel. What do you mean by a Fast? Slim Fast? Also what about Arby's
Sandwiches. Like Beef'n Cheddars and Junior Roast Beefs? Are they Ok to eat?

I have no problem with Fruits just as long as it's sort of sweet. But I don't really
like Vegetables. Can someone please Describe to me the Protein Diet as well
as Dieting Pills? I don't think I can run 40-50 Yards as well.

I'm not sure I have that Mental confidence either. I'm not really a Confident individual,
i'm more shy.

Moltres, can you please Describe to me those Drinks you were talking about? Pepsi One
and Coca Cola Zero?

I try to stay away from Diet carbonated drinks because one of the chemicals they use in it as an artificial sugar is Aspartame. You can google that if you want to find out how bad it is. Let me just warn you, don't try diet cokes that have been sitting out in the sun. Ouch.

Source? Just by a glance at the nutritional information of diet sodas you can tell they are better for you than regular. (No carbohydrates,no sugar)

Carbs aren't bad. An excess of carbs is. The problem is that your body burns the carbohydrates, then the fat.

Just watch your serving intake. A serving is actually quite smaller than most people realize.

Fasting mean that you don't eat for a set period of time. Most likely one day. You can drink all the water you want, but you just don't eat.
