I think these are pretty simple questions but just want them confirmed:

1- Ditto is active and has taken 80 damage whilst copying the HP of a defending Pokémon that has 130HP. Ditto knocks out the defending Pokémon and the opponent puts a Pokémon forward with 70HP. Ditto is now knocked out right?

2 - Same scenario as above but the opponent puts forward a Pokémon with 130HP after the knock out. Would Ditto stay alive?

3 - Ditto has 80 damage whilst copying a 130HP Pokémon. The opponent uses Warp Point. Now that Ditto is on the bench is it knocked out?

1- i think it depends on the hp of the pokemon that comes up

2- i think if another came out with 130 hp and ditto had 80 on it i dont think it would be knocked out cause it would now have 130 hp

3-yes its knocked cause ditto's body requires him to be active for it body to work

hopefully that helps

1. Yes, Ditto is knocked out.
2. No, Ditoo is not knocked out. It instantly takes upon the new pokemon's hp.
3. Yes, Ditto is knocked out.

Actually, ditto says, when the pokemon you orginally copy is no longer the active pokemon, choose one of your opponents pokemon to copy. So in senerio one, if you knock out your opponents pokemon, its no longer active, so you can choose one of your opponents pokemon to copy, anyone. So if you can copy a pokemon with more than 80 hp it would still be alive. Id always assumed it would be that.
But the last 2 anwsers are right.

When it says that Ditto "still requires the necessary Energy in order to use the attack," does that mean it has to be the same TYPE, or just the same NUMBER of Energy? For example, do you need 2 Psychic and a Colorless to do Gardevoir's Psychic Lock, or just 3 Energy of any kind (like 2 Darkness and 1 Fighting)?

no, Ditto would be KO'd. When ditto ko's something, your opponent brings up a pokemon. Ditto then copies that pokemon and would be KO'd (as according to scenario 1)

Not quite!
It says to choose one of their Active Pokemon.
Not any of their Pokemon.
That refers to when the game is being played 2-on-2.
If it is a normal game and there is just one active, there is no choice.
He would be KO'd.
