Do boosters still come with 10 cards?

Are boosters still 10 cards per pack?
And will any energy be included, or is the only way to get them is by buying theme decks?

Dark and Metal have been scarce for some reason (more rare and expensive than the special counterparts).
It would be nice to get these new energies. I really like the artwork.
 
That's probably because you got lucky with random packs. In a single box, there are probably around 10.

It's a new day and age when someone pulling more basic energy in packs is considered "lucky". :lol:

Supposedly, the basic energy in the HGSS theme decks is the older kind.
 
The energies in the HGSS theme decks aren't the "old" ones, as they still have the gold and silver border consistent with the set they're in, and don't contain the "capsule" design the DP era energies had.

The ones in the booster packs simply have the silhouette artwork printed on them as well.
