Do You Think Darkrai LV.X is over hyped?

Actually, that equals really slow deck that gets killed easily. Everything is an Easy KO from Gallade. Magmortar screws everything up by sniping stuff and dealing massive damage to the active. I used to play Weavile/Blissey, and I never got anywhere with it. The Darkrai wouldn't be very easy to get out; meaning things really haven't improved. Just my opinion from experience.
 
Uggh the deck is Darkrai/Weavile/GARCHOMP not Blissey. =/

You're doing 130 to anything using only the basic Darks + 1 other basic of the needed type. Its slow but you can sac a Weavile or two and then sweeeeep. Not much is OHKOing Chomp and you win the tradeoff. BDIF.
 
Depends on your definition of "over hyped". I see it as too many people saying it is good with no actual playtesting/results with it. I haven't heard a lot of talk about Darkrai in general so I'd hardly say its overhyped.

already had posted this combo somewhere else on the 'Gym. I now even have a list. The deck seems kind of slow, but it was my initial list so some modifications need to be done to improve consistency/speed.
 
You run at least 4 Celio 2 Bebe to get the guaranteed T2 Weavile + Gible to drop nrg onto. Anything else can wait.

the problem with the list i had was only running 11 supporters, even with a "searcher" that's just to low. I'm going to increase it to 13. It should pick up speed/consistency.

Another thing is that I wasn't running into any RC, which I run 3 of. Which in another deck with similar line numbers, 3 is perfect.
 
People pay to much attention to darkrai LV.X. I personally don't think its the best LV.X in the set, it either has to be palkia or cresselia LV.X. I must say it has a good attack and good poke-power, but i'm sure PUSA will up the price of the tin when it comes out this spring.

EDIT: You can buy Darkrai LV.X online at pokeorder.com for $89.99. WOW. Thats all i can say.
 
Mewtwo Lv.X Line > Darkrai Lv.X Line

1.Mewtwo charges itself and recovers itself.
2. Lv.X body only makes it a better staller and attacker.
3. Does more damage for the same amount.(120)

Mewtwo Lv.X is so much more playable and will be the better choice when released.
 
i love darkrai, i run it and hey he's great. i understand the hype and ya know what, when the tin comes out, it's over.

Xatu (SW) 1-1 tech does wonders...what are the chances of flipping 2 tails when you check for sleep? 25%....so you either flip 1 tails and 1 heads or 2 heads and you stay alive and awake then you use your teched Xatu to change the defending asleep and boom....your awake and they are in trouble...

I used to think it was over hyped, and then I watched someone play it w/ Blissey and just OHKO everything. It was insane. It isn't as overhyped as people think.
 
Right now it is overhyped, but thats because the meta-game has way too many good fighting cards, EX. machamp, lucario, gallade, ect. But I think in the future it could be big, or at least better than it is right now. Plus overhyped completely depends on which devision your in. Seniors and Masters not so much, but thats because we can think of better and more reliable ways to get around it but in juniors, where they can't, the card is underhyped.
Plus to who ever is thinking bout the 1-1 Xatu ... what? yeah you go fill 2 pokemon slots for a tech against 1 card.

Claydol msut be in this version or thee blissey version or u get no speed.playtest proven
 
Ok, let´s see..it is overhyped...decks with it do work (if you know how)...but it will not win a states or worlds
but thats only my opinion.
