Does anyone watch The Avatar the Last Air bender

Any predictions/expectations/hopes/fears for next season?

Did you watch the finale? Was it AWESOME?!!1/? ;p

1) The girl at the end and Zuko will have a duel, and he'll have the surprise advantage since Zuko's presumed dead.
2) Zhao didn't die.
3) Haru makes a reappearance (Season Two is Earth).

Uh, the girl at the end was his sister, and obviously they're going to fight seeing how she is probably now going to hunt them or something. And Zhao is pretty much dead I think.

She can't hunt a dead man. To everyone in the world except Iroh, Aang, Katara and Sokka, Zuko is dead. Zhao, the only other man to see him alive, is also presumed dead. How can she hunt what she can't see? It's Zuko that will hunt her. =)

I dunno, I vaguely remember the fire lord saying how Iroh was a traitor or ssomething with Zuko . Something like that.

"Your brother Zuko is a failure. I think he's referencing his supposed death.

I finally saw the final episode! It was amazing!

As for predictions...I want to believe Zhao is dead, but, you never know if they are just trying to be mysteriously ambiguous or just trying to not deal with death directly, since it is a kids' network after all.

Obviously the Zuko's sister is going to find out Zuko's still alive. And the battles will ensue. I'll bet they will have a "greater evil" episode, where Aang and Co. team up with Zuko to beat off either an agent of Zuko's sister, or the sister herself.

By the way, how do you know next season is Earth?

Makes sense.

Say, do you have to be born a bender or do you acquire it at a certain age or just have it get unlocked like a super-sayain or something? Because if you can get you powers unlocked at a certain time, then I think they might make Sokka a bender. Or not.

There are two reasons why they might not make him a bender:
  1. They use him and his logic to conflict with the spirituality of bending
  2. I think you are either born a bender or a regular person, no mid-life aquisition.
Oh, say anyone think Aunt Woo's prediction will come true for Katara? It could be Aang or it could be any other powerful bender, you know. Or it could even just be a false prediction. Just some thoughts.

It's an instinct I think and I don't think we'll ever learn if her prediction is true or not we'll find out one day.

If there are special features like the Zim DVDs, count me in.

This show is that good. The clincher is how high the DVD's production value is. I thought it was cool how one of the creators took time to teach us how to draw Aang during the commercials of the season finale.

Avatar The Last Airbender is probably the only show on nickolodeon that shows any good action and fighting.
I really like the show and I'm hoping the next season will be even better. I give it 9/10.

Speaking of cartoons does anybody know if Jack on Samurai Jack ever defeated Aku?
IT'S KILLING ME! I HAVE TO KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nickelodeon only gets 2 kinds of shows;

1. Garbage that they'll shove down your thraot until you throw a brick at your TV (I.E. Catscratch, Teenage Robot)

2. Stuff with potential that they cancel after 2 seasons (Angry Beavers, Avatar (most likely))

What's keeping Nickelodeon alive currently?

Fairly Oddparents, Danny Phantom, and Spongebob reruns. Nickelodeon only has what? 7 shows now? The first 3 I mentioned, that new Rugrats show (Grown Up, or w/e), Catscratch, Avatar, and Jimmy Neutron. Cartoon Network is killing them on the kids audience with Billy & Mandy (or w/e), Ed, Edd, & Eddy, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, and Camp Lazlo , all of which have newer episodes much more frequently than the Nickelodeon shows.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and I thought this as soon as I saw this topic in here, Avatar: The Last Airbender is not an anime, it's US made, it just has a little of an anime-ish look, I guess.

SpongeBob actually only has about 20 episodes left until it is canceled:(

I watched a few episodes, it's ok. I guess I like the originality but the voice acting is like babies on crack speaking into a microphone... =/

Well, may as well be the one to bring this back to life (or get it locked). New Avatar tonight!

Edit: Just got done watching it, and it was awesome. Season 2 is off to a good start!
