First coupla turns I work to get donphan up as quickly as possible, try for a full bench, then earthquake until I get enough energy in play to fighting tag donphan back to my bench bring up machamp so I can start dropping 150 damage. Comments?

Okay, so since I made a deck like this. . .I will give you some advice I was given.
#1: I will HIGHLY recommend taking out all professor elm's and replace them with Bebe's. Bebe's are all the more effeciant then professor elm's.
#2: I will suggest that you take out 1 machamp prime for a machamp from sf. Now, these machamps are REALLY expensive so if you dont have one and you dont want to spend the money to get one, no worries you dont have to.
#3: i will also suggest taking out the judge for bts.
#4: my last final thing is I think you should take out 1-2 fighting energy for some more dce
a question I also have is why is there 3 pokemon collector 2 times?

welp, I hope this helps!

Oh sorry I meant 3-pokemon collector, and 3-pokemon communication. My B!

And also i want to keep this list HGSS and up for next years tourneys.

- 2 twins ... you really don't need twthem...
- 1 switch
+ 3 seeker

seeker:

have 2 machamp primes out one is active... switch with the other macha,ps fighting tag then use seeker to refresh the damaged machamp, by the time you have it back down especially with BTS your other machamp will be worn out then just repeat.

overall great deck, maybe evn better than my donchamp

Yeah the seekers are a must to keep machamp active, just make sure to utilize the earthquake by donphan and if you were going to add Ho-oh legend (I am going to try it) thats when the twins would come in handy.
I would keep the twins only because they can get machamp set up faster and take out the switch.

Great deck otherwise :)

definitely add 3 DCE.

I also run exploud (no weakness) but I don't think that's gonna help me in the new format.

Don't need Life Herb either.

What you want to do is get Donphan out ASAP, earthquake your full bench, and then Tag Team (or whatever that poke power is with machamp prime) and hit your opponent for 150!!!! Toss on an e-belt for fun (while we can). I run 2 machamp prime and 2 machamp SF in case I can EVER get the turn 1 donk. It's only happenned once.

The above list is fairly clearly built for HGSS-on, which is the new format for those who haven't picked up on it yet. Overall, I think 4 Collector and 4 Communication are a must, and you can probably cut to 3 Rare Candy and 3 Switch to make the change. Since you're one of the fastest decks in the format, Twins is likely to backfire on you and be a dead card; cut those for 2 Junk Arms, to bring back used Communications, Life Herbs (if you keep them in) and Switches.

DCEs are big for setting up Machamp; I'd consider going up from 1 to at least 3. Life Herbs, with their silly flippiness, aren't imo that useful - consider cutting them for the energies, though you could probably go down safely to 8-10 fighting instead.

Overall it looks like a fairly standard donchamp build that needs some tuning.

lol thanks aron, everyone was asking to add cards from sets before HGSS

and i agree 4 communications is a must, but you can do 3 collector. your bench is gunna fill at some time xD
and even with 3 candies instead of 4 you could get away with a 3-2-3 line, or maybe even 3-1-3 if you run all 4 candies because with the rare candy errata you cant use them on donphan so that's the only thing they're good for
