So, a few days ago, I was browsing through the Clash at the Summit cards for potential deck ideas, and my scrolling mouse wheel suddenly froze.

Yanmega Prime.

When I saw it (and its awesome PokéBody), I knew it was the right card for me. 70 or a 40 snipe, both for no Energy? And a free retreat to boot? I was entirely sold.

And so began the list making.
I experimented with quite a few techs, new TSS lines, and whole new builds.
I had three lists to choose from, all three focusing on a slightly different area than the other two.
I had a strong, bulky build. I had a balanced build, with good speed and decent bulk, and I had a donk build.

After much contemplation, I chose the donk build.
I experimented with a few different T/S/S lines, but eventually settled for the one I'm using here.

Ad so, the theorymon was done.

(Of course, this deck hasn't seen any real play, as Triumphant isn't out yet.)

Donkyan: Hand In Hand

Pokémon (16):

4 Yanmega Prime CatS
4 Yanma CatS
3 Giratina PL (Let Loose)
3 Uxie LA
2 Crobat G

T/S/S (42):

4 Hunter LoLi
4 Copycat GS
4 Judge UL
4 Super Scoop Up UL
4 Team Galactic's Invention Poké Turn PL
3 Pokémon Collector GS
3 Bebe's Search RR
4 Expert Belt AR
3 Broken Time-Space PL
1 Luxury Ball SF
3 Night Teleporter SV
4 Junk Arm CatS
1 Palmer's Contribution SV

Energy (2):

2 Call Energy MD

Strategy:

Basically, use Judge or Giratina PL to equalise your and your opponent's hand sizes, and then standard donk procedure follows with Yanmega Prime, Bats and Uxies.
Hunter's there for being awesome: take up your Giratina PL, drop it, and force your opponent to shuffle that benched Pokémon.
The other cards are mostly for hand sizing if you can't get your Giratinas up and running.

Card Stuff

Yanmega (Prime) - Grass - HP 110
Stage 1 - Evolves from Yanma

Poke-Body: Insight
If you and your opponent have the same number of cards in your hands, this Pokemon’s attacks have no Energy cost.

[G][C] Linear Attack: Does 40 damage to 1 of your opponent’s Pokemon. (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance when damaging the Bench.)

[G][G][C] Sonic Boom: 70 damage. This attack’s damage isn’t affected by Weakness or Resistance.

Weakness: Lightning (x2)
Resistance: Fighting (-20)
Retreat: 0

The key card in my deck. It's there for donking.

Yanma - Grass - HP 50
Basic Pokemon

Poke-Body: Free Flight
If this Pokemon has no Energy attached to it, this Pokemon has no retreat cost.

[G][C] Dive: 20 damage.

Weakness: Lightning (x2)
Resistance: Fighting (-20)
Retreat: 1

I personally prefer ths Yanma, as I'm not going to be using any Energy anytime soon.

Junk Arm
Goods (Trainer)

Discard 2 cards from your hand, then show 1 Goods card from your discard pile to your opponent, and put it in your hand.
You can’t choose any Junk Arm card from your discard pile with this card’s effect.

Good for discarding stuff to even out hand sizes.

Hunter - Supporter
Each player returns 1 of his or her Benched Pokemon and all cards attached to it to his or her hand. You return your cards first.

I really like this card in combination with Judge and (if I'm still keeping it) Giratina PL. Having them scoop a Benched Pokémon and then shuffle it back in is a wonderful thing.

1stly, so your post isn't hard to understand for folks who don't have the upcoming set spoilers memorized make sure you post the card text of cards we don't have yet.

The giratina is nice, but on a closer look it reads "may draw up to 4" and "(you draw first)." So, they could avoid your donk if they draw 3. (not that it'd help them.)

Looks good so far, I'll comment more when you fix it.

Great list, AkaneDomo!

As Mewtral said, Giratina isn't so hot in this deck.

You may want to use VS Seeker or Pokegear 3.0 though.

One minor nitpick... Flowershop>Palmer's

Hope I helped your amazing deck!

I don' think anyone wants to only have a hand of 3 cards, though.

@DonphanAtoZ:
I mean it's a choice people would more likely pick when facing a Donk scenario, for their final hope.

Alright, thank you everyone for answering! ^o^

This is very true. I didn't see that the first time I looked, so thank you for correcting that!
I'll most likely still keep the Giratinas in, as they still even out our hand sizes somewhat.

I'm not too sure - possibly a Pokégear or two. I'm not sure if I really want to bother with VS Seeker though.

Nope, not in this deck. Note that I have 2 Energy in this deck, both of which are Special.

@RougeDecker
you need more energy so if you can't even out the hand..

I don't really understand what you're saying. Why do I need more Energy?

Lawl, right, Giratina isn't the worst idea here. It causes some great disruption. On a side note, since you run 3 why not add one LvX? (This is my preference since my opponent always had one more card than me.)

What do you think of Banette PL?

You could add in Donphan Prime and have himout as a lingering threat when you go for Let Loose. Since Yanmega Prime has free retreat, if your opponent decides to draw less cards than you, promote Donphan and Quake.

Oh. You know what - that was exactly what I was looking for. Banette, you're going in. ^-^

I'm thinking about the Giratina LvX - it'd be hard to get out, methinks.

Ooh. That's quite the possibility, actually. I'll think about it.

Though that would require Fighting and Warp energies.

If they only draw 3 you can possibly drop one in some way before you attack.

Banette's a good idea to really even the hand out. If you run him, you might want something to heal the damage off after using the power, tho. Otherwise Chomp could snipe him easily. But this is a donk deck, so it might not matter as much.

Have you thought about Lookers instead of Junk Arm? You get info on what your opponents hand, then you get to decide between 0-5 cards to draw depending on how many your opponent has.
Also, Junk Arm Requires you to discard 2 cards to retrieve 1. This means that your opponents hand and yours would need to have a exact difference of 2 (yours having 2 more cards) since your discarding Junk Arm to begin with, follow by 2 more cards in order to put 1 back into your hand.

I see one flaw with this deck - DGX spells instant doom. You'll have a very hard time killing off Dialgas before they level up.
