Strat: Get out Donphans and Serperior ASAP. Serp cancels out Earthquake and Rainbow damage while constantly healing too. Deck is obviously very strong against lightning decks.

Why verizion? I would either go with outrage dragons or Cobalion to counter Kyurem. One reshiram in this deck ruins Kingdra as well.

Water resistance on Virizion and the Serpents does a good job of Kingdra (what little of him is played, anymore), too.


I liked Virizion as an alternative starter to Cleffa.

Basically, if i played Kyurem/Gator or anything heavy water (Kyurem) I would essentially keep the Donphans off the field and just play Serperior-Virizion, which KILLS those decks.
 
this is a little redundant. earthquake DOES 10 damage to each of your bench NOT put 1 damage counter, meaning that donphan's exoskeleton poke-body prevents the 10 damage from earthquake.

Yes, I realize that, that's of course assuming that Donphans are the only Pokemon in this deck, or rather, on my bench.
