Donphan tech in luxchomp

Although I'm not certain exactly how much LuxChomp NEEDS a Donphan counter, I'd go with Quagsire if you feel the need to run one. :D
 
alright, thank you all for your suggestions, and also one quick question if anyone can answer it:
does crobat g need to be active for the poison to do 20 to the pokemon it poisoned?

No it dosn't.

"Why do you need a tech? the deck gives you an answer already. Poison donphan with crobat, next turn retreat and hit it for 80 with garchomp. End of problem"

I just wanted to restate that because no one noticed it even after JBowroxmysox repeated it. Unless you count mewbreon lol
 
It's already been said, but just use Crobat to poison the Donphan, retreat, Galactic Switch to a Garchomp, and Dragon Rush the Donphan. It will die in between turns due to posion. You are only using cards that are already in your list, and you don't have to put in any techs or other energy (like Quagsire GL and Water Energy).
 
Water Arceus you can play it attach a water and Galactic switch and DCE to it. Although you need to belt to to OHKO the Donphan. It is an idea but to much to set up.
