Donphan
Pros: -20 resistance to everything, can attack 60 with only 1 energy, isn't weak to Grass unlike Terrakion (meaning Virizion and Shaymin ex techs can't surprise ko it), also has a bonus -20 lightning resistance
Cons: it's a stage 1 making it harder to set up than Terrakion, it has a very donkable basic form.
Terrakion
Pros: 130hp basic can't be donked easily, easy to search, can hit 90 for 2 energy, can abuse Eviolite
Cons: Basically everything listed above, under Donphan
I've been trying a Donphan/Electrode deck for quite some time now, it was supposed to be a counter to Eelektrik variants which are really popular in my area. Lately I've really wanted to switch to Terrakion but somehow I feel that hitting 90 every turn wasn't easy at all. I need some advice here please :/
