Download Mew from October 15 to October 30

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Pokemon Gold and Silver versions, players on HeartGold and SoulSilver will be able to download Mew onto their games - Starting this friday, October 15th.

Mew will be level 5, in a cherish ball, the the PREMIER ribbon (Not classic!)

To do this, you must go to Mystery Gift on your HearGold or SoulSilver versions, select receive gift, and via Nintendo WFC. You must have your DS configured to connect to a wireless internet signal for this. Most public library's and coffee shops have free wireless internet to do this if you do not have this at home.

You can only have 3 mystery gifts in queue, so if you have 3 waiting you must pick at least one up and delete the mystery gift card before you can receive mew.

Totally useless Trivia about Mew (Thanks to Bulbapedia):

• Mew can learn every TM, HM, and Move Tutor attack - giving mew one of the best move pools in the game, next to Smeargle.
• In an interview with GameFreak and Creatures, Inc. in Nintendo Power issue 134, Tsunekazu Ishihara revealed that he created Mew two weeks before game development was finished.
• Mew is the only genderless Pokémon able to learn Attract and Captivate; however, when used by Mew, they will fail unless the opposing Pokémon is also genderless.
• Unlike most legendaries, Mew needs only 1,059,860 Exp. to get to Level 100, whereas most legendaries need 1,250,000. It shares this trait with both Celebi and Shaymin.
• Mew shares the move Transform with Ditto, along with also sharing the same color, both Shiny and not.

Japan had this event ages ago, this is indeed for the NA anniversary of Gold and Silver.

It comes at level 5 with Pound, that's it. It has no set nature, as far as I know.

In other words, yes. But, being WFC, it is for ALL countries as LONG as you have Internet Connection and Wifi capabilities.

It's only attack will be Pound, since Mew arrives at Lv. 5 and Idk entirely about the nature, but in my experiences it will more than likely be either Hardy or totally random
