Those cards are beautiful, especially those Dratini and Dragonair.

Also it looks like Fraxure does something about plus 40 damage. Wonder what. Other than that guess we'll have to wait for spoilers.

Hi

If I´m not wrong
Druggidon´s Second attack is like this:

RWC 80x
Flip 2 coins. This attack does 80 times the number of heads.

and Dragonite´s Second attack is:
LCCC 60x
Flip 4 coins. This attack does 60 times the number of heads.

Dragonite´s need to do only 3 flip coins as heads, then It does 180 dmg. But no I hate usually flips like this. Dragonite isn´t perfect, 4 energy and you possible do just 60 or 120 dmg

looks interesting but why are 3 of the basics only 40hp poke unless the basic attacks are decent i'd likely stick to the colorless versions we have for now (though some may be rotated by the time we get these cards)

im ao not into the whole dragon idea. i like our types the way they are and having dragon only be weak to dragon is a little samey. some more variation would have been nice

Except for that ticket trainer the set is pretty much worthless :(
And I doubt the ticket will see much play tbh..

Sableye says hi.

OK, not too much interesting stuff there...

Sally, as mentioned before, has potential. I don't think it's good, but it's certainly interesting. Maybe combining it with N makes it better?

I wonder if there's some way to break Fraxure. Probably not, given that energy cost, but I'd like to see somebody try.

I *really* wanna know what the exact translation of First Ticket is. Right now, it's either looking like it's "broken" or it's "useless", depending on the translation you're thinking about.

I think it's funny how Sinnoh's Dragons were ignored entirely. I'd say Johto's too but there's only one and since they sidestepped Flygon and Altaria, they probably wanted to stick with actual Dragon-types, which meant no Horsea/Seadra either.

My favorite artwork is Dratini 2. The artwork for any of the final evolutions doesn't impress me much.

Not sure if anyone else is interested in EXP Share, but I am--it might be a nice way to keep :fighting: energy on the board, since there are no energy accel options for :fighting: type. The downside in the translation for the EXP Share in this set is that you have to discard EXP Share if you use it. ("If you do, discard EXP. Share.") Oddly, Bangiras' translation from the Psycho Drive EXP Share does not include this sentence, even though the cards look identical. The cards do *not* look identical to the older Flight of Legends (Fire Red/Leaf Green) EXP.All card, even though the Dragon Selection translation is identical to that older card.

But I don't know Japanese. Did the text change from EXP.All? I guess we'll see whether the English text changed in a couple of days...

That was a mistake that happened when the text was mostly compared to its FireRed LeafGreen print. The Japanese text did change from the EXP. ALL. You don't discard the tool once you move the energy.

So...nothing good here it would seem I guess. Guess this is the obligatory "fun" set to introduce people to shiny new dragon type cards before the good ones come out in later sets.

Weak set of cards. Fast Ticket is the only thing that is worth reading in the translations. That one ability seems fun though

Yeah but you have a 40% chance of using it on your 1st turn If you run 4 copies of First Ticket in a deck and it seems like a waste mid to late game when it's only use is at the beginning of the game. I don't think it's that broken of a card cause most Speed decks will be on a huge decline after Next Destinies is released.

There's going to be a good reason these cards are so weak. There'll be something that props up Dragons, almost guaranteed.
My guess would be that the special dragon energy will make up for it in some way. Just my opinion though. Definitely interesting dreaming about what it might be. :thumb:

Hopefully it'll at least mimic any type of energy needed to fulfill a dragon pokemon's attacks, as almost all of them have dual energy requirements...so like a rainbow energy just for them in ways, maybe another beneficial effect like 10 extra damage too.
