Hello all,

I've added links to images of my (almost) complete collection of Dragon Vault cards (I'm missing two of the blister front "promos": Haxorus and Latias). I'm still not 100% sure on how to add images to my posts. I know my scanner is not the best, but the cards themselves were not printed well...the font is very blurry on the cards, especially in the area of light gold colouring on the left side of the cards and the text at the very bottom (set #, artist, etc.).

I found the Dragon Vault blisters at my local card store for $11.95 each. I bought 3 and was able to get almost all of the set; I did not get Dragonite at all and had to trade for it. Also, I only got 1 First Ticket out of 9 packs and about two of each of the other Item cards. Also, I got two Rayquaza out of 9 packs.

May i ask what city and card store? Im in ontario as well and looking to get my hands on some if possible.
 
Woah. Was Pokebeach's translation wrong or did our First Ticket get mistranslated? There's no RPS.
 
It's because of our format. We don't play RPS to decide who goes first. Japan does. We flip a coin to decide it, so naturally we're flipping coins now too.

Pulled 1 Kyurem out of 9 packs I opened. The store only had about 6 of the blisters and as far as I know one of my blisters was the only one with the Kyurem (the other three were purchased after me). So 1 Kyurem out of 18 packs at that store.
 
Meanwhile in British Columbia. Lol Is there a code card in every pack? Also is there a special code for the promo card on the front of the blister?
 
is the kyurem same as every other card in the set?
or does it get the special texture as per other current secret rares?

Each blister comes with 1 TCGO card. Can't recall what it gives you though.

The Kyurem has the same holo treatment as the other cards in the set.

They worked the first day that TCGO was up and running after the day the set was released. That's about as immediate as you're going to get. No, they did NOT work at the Prerelease. But look at that word again. Pre. Release. As in, before the release. Never expect anything like that to work before it's actually released.

Care to tone it down a bit? I wasn't attacking precious pci here, just making an observation. Looking back at this thread, DRX was indeed out officially and the client didn't support it: http://pokegym.net/forums/showthread.php?t=167551

We had to wait for an update, which, I assume, will happen this time as well. So there's the possibility that if there's some vault-specific codes in the box they won't work until a game update comes out (unless they snuck it in in a previous update or cards can be updated dynamically).

also, this set has no real street date as evidenced by the regionals uproar, so in that case, which date would I expect it to work (if there is indeed a vault-specific code)?
 
I picked up my blisters at Comic Connection in Oakville. Each blister comes with a code card which gives you three packs of 5 cards plus one of five promos. I would guess that the promo you get will be randomly selected. There is no rarity value assigned to any of the cards, but First Ticket and Kyurem appear (so far) to be the most difficult to find.:cool:

S the online code is redeemable for dv cards?
