Okay... I assume the answer is that the energy would automatically discard, but i'll ask this anyway.
I have a brock's Ninetales with a Metal Energy and a Double Rainbow Energy attached to it. I use Brock's Ninetales to shapeshift into Aggron ex. Would the double rainbow energy be automatically discarded? The pokemon it's technically attached to is brock's ninetales (See Brock's Protection as refrence).
