and to think, this all could have been avoided if you just sent the broken ds to nintendo, where they would replace it free of charge.
on a related note, i got a japanese ice blue ds lite for $200 on a site. well, the back of it near the hinge got cracked, and my friend COULD have fixed it, but was mad at me at the time. i couldnt return it to the site, cuz they went out of business for some sony fraud.
so i got a new one, for another $200 (i know. im an idiot). then my friend takes a look at my old one, says he can fix it, and now i have 2 ds lites and 1 original ds. hooray.

1) Anyone who sides with the original poster is an IDIOT.

2) You were at a girls house, she wa showing off her new hot tub and you brought your DS along with you?

You are pathetic.

LOL
I just talked to someone on the Nintendo Boards asking if it was a good adei to play there DS in the bath...
Ow I always keep my DS in a water tight case if i will near be any..

The attitude of some people toward SD Pokemom reeks. Maybe that's why people are the way they are today - no one is around to say something against actions like this, and that's why they continue to happen constantly. I applaud you, 'Mom. :)

And poster, although it's stupid to judge you based on this one action without knowing you, this wouldn't be something I'd go posting around on the internet if you don't want people to judge your questionable actions. Even though the action is done, it was pretty pathetic of you to pawn off a DS like that and lie, especially when someone else could be on the receiving end of it in the future. Guess you don't care, though?

I dropped my old Nintendo DS in a pond and after a week it worked fine =/.

It shut off after about 2 hours everytime, but other then that

When it comes to water damage (cough cough), I have come to learn that you are supposed to NEVER TURN IT ON after it has happened. You put it under a hot lamp, outside, wherever - until you know it is COMPLETELY dried out (open it if necessary). Then, turn it on. If there is water, it will short everything, which is why if you let it dry out (other than possible rust damage), it should work.

anyways as this is not what i was going for im gonna ask this topic be closed... I dont think all of the bashing of me is necessary. I get it, but its not like others have taken advantage of something in some way before, anyways sorry that you all are so disgusted in me and thanks for making such harsh judgments to my character. Anyways mods close this thread.
