What game? If its for Animal Crossing: Wild World, you connect to wifi then you can talk to Copper and click friend code to find out what it is. It also will be the tab on your menu with the heart, where all of the friend codes you registered are at, and one of them shows you your friend code.
 
I'm still playing ACWW. I suppose I can live with people who TT, since its small compared to all the hacking ( blehhh). I'm going for the full catalogue, so if you want to trade items, grab my fruit or just wander around, lmk
