Hi everyone! It's been a while since I actually posted a thread, but I have been online. I was testing out Durant and I'm wondering is this decklist look right? It seems to be doing well for me. lol Thanks! :biggrin:

Pokemon: 8

4 Durant NV
1 Cobalion NV
1 Rotom UD
1 Spiritomb TM
1 Mime Jr. CL

Supporters and Trainers: 42

4 Pokemon Collector
3 N
3 Twins
2 Professor Juniper
1 Professor Oak’s New Theory
1 Seeker
4 Victory Medal
4 Dual Ball
2 Pokegear 3.0
4 Junk Arm
3 Eviolite
2 Pokemon Catcher
2 Crushing Hammer
2 Lost Remover
2 Revive (Don’t have anymore…..)
2 Super Rod
1 Switch

Energy: 10

6 Metal Energy
4 Special Metal Energy

Strategy: Get out four Durant as soon as possible to use Devour. Try to deck your opponent out as soon as possible with Durant.

You don't need 4 Collector and 4 Dual Balls. Get rid of the Dual Balls and add 2 Crushing Hammers, 1 Juniper and 1 Revive. I don't think you need the Spiritomb and Mime Jr. either, another Pokegear and energy would probably work.

If you want to win with Durant, Your 2 most important cards are your catchers and crushing hammers. I suggest taking out some dual ball/victory medal in order to bump up your hammer to 4 and Catcher to 3

I dissagree the most important trainer crads in Durant are Pokemon Catcher and Revive. Wo carres if they have something powered up if they cant use it.

Cause opponents can play only 1 attacker. At that point crushing hammer / lost remover become essential. I'd max out on crushing hammer AND catcher,as well as 2-3 lost remover.

If they only play one attacker you KO it with Cobalion and win the game.

If you tech in a Legend, you might be able to stall for a turn with Indigo Plateau, You could play Spinarak so their Cleffa won't retreat. Those would probably work best against trainer lock decks. If you're playing Mime Jr. is 1 Switch really enough?

This is my list of Durant, which iFinished third in a Cities.

4-Durant
1-Rotom
~~~~~~~
4-Twins
4-Pokemon Collector
4-Pokegear 3.0
4-Crushing Hammer
4-Pokemon Catcher
4-Junk Arm
4-Revive
4-N
4-Eviolite
4-Dual Ball
2-Lost Remover
1-Switch
1-Flower Shop Lady
~~~~~~~~
4- Special Metal Energy
2-Rescue Energy
5-Metal Energy

As much as iLove techs, consistency is usually better. In my area ChandyPlume is high in use so iTeched in
a FSL. But by the time 3 Durants were K.O.ed it would take a turn to use FSL, then another one for Collector rendering FSL useless. Crushing Hammer, Lost Remover, and Catcher dry there deck of any energy. (This is why Yanmagnezone has troubles with Durant) With the next set unleashing Prism Energy, 4 Lost Removers will be almost necessary for Durant.

High Hopes Decklist

Here is my list, Earned Top Cut in 3 CC's (had to drop in one so only particapted in two of them). Bubbled in three other CC's. Only fire decks gave me trouble. Figured out the ZPST matchup in the second half of Cities won majroity of them as well. Did not loose once to Truth Variants, Chandleure or Gothitelle. Was very happy with the deck. Only cons was I never met a couple of goals I set for myself. I never donked with Durant (had the opportunity to but went for set up instead of going for the donk, I went for the set up, event though I would have donked if I had tried. And I never donked with Driffblim. Oh well there is allways States. Here is my list

Pokemon
4 Durrant
3 Cobalion
2 Drifloon
2 Driffblim
1 Rotom

Trainer
4 Pokemon Collector
4 N
3 Bianca
2 Professor Juniper
2 Twins
1 Black Belt
4 Eviolite
3 Pokemon Catcher
2 Switch
2 Revive
2 Pokemon Communication
2 Junk Arm
2 Dual Ball
1 Super Rod

Energy
8 Metal
4 Special Metal
2 Double Colorless

^ I'd love to see a Lightning energy in there just so you can attack with rotom, try it out. You can get it back with Super rod if you only play a single copy. If you don't like it, use Rainbow. If you've tried it fair enough, but yeah.
