Dusk lv.x Vs Palkia

So I use palkia from dp/ge's attack spacial rend to kill my oppoents active dusk lv.x. My opponent then uses ectoplasm to make it a stadium. Now damage comes first before effects. Now which effect comes first palkias effect of attack that can didscard a stadium in play or does ectoplasm. In simpler terms, can palkia get rid of dusknoir right after it comes in play as a stadium or do I have to wait a turn to discard it. Also if palkia does discard it I'm assuming no damage will be done by dusknoir seeing as between turns has not happened yet.

KO's are not removed from play until after all effects have been finished.
So, after effects have been done, including any stadium discard, THEN Dusknoir is removed from play, and at that point, it becomes a Stadium.
