hmm scolipede vs crobat prime... both stage 2, scolipede easier to get and has 10-20 more hp, :psychic::colorless: for 30 and 2 poison vs :psychic: for 4 poison and :psychic::colorless::colorless: 50-90 vs :psychic: 30 snipe. :psychic: weak vs :lightning: weak res:fighting: and 2-3 retreat vs free retreat.

think crobat is better but i could see both in a deck together going some good stat damage.

krookodile on the other hand the ability is good as are its stats but the attack could be better, could be pretty awesome when flip victini comes out

What does the new Cincinno do? Do you know what any of the other new English Exclusives do?

This set is horribly disappointing.

Max Potion, Recycle might see play; Beartic and Gothitelle might see play,

Catcher will 100% see play.

I'm waiting for our november set. Hell, why couldn't the cool holos be in this set, instead?

Cinccino's second attack is 30 damage for zero energy, but it can't be used on the next turn. We just don't know the attack's name.

Okay, what claims do we have so far, and where? We might be able to figure out the distributor(s) that sent these out early.

Here are reported states and what has been seen (T=theme decks, B=boosters, TB=both, N=none) and the amount of stores reported each.

Here's a full list of US distributors for reference:

And once you've discovered who did this your plan is...?

Of note, none of those distributors put cards in Target or Wal-mart.

Who knew Pokemon Company employees would be such level headed bosses about this?

I don't believe in facebook nonsense but go ahead and have a plus one. GG sir.

Cinccino's second attack is 30 damage for zero energy, but it can't be used on the next turn. We just don't know the attack's name.

The only known image of the Cinccino has the second attacks energy cost blocked by the figure that it is being released with. nothing has a Zero attack cost now a days.

I was going by what Bulbapedia said, but I just realized that the energy cost could have been left blank on their news article since it wasn't visible in the card... making it seem like Cinccino's attack didn't need energy due to their templates. My mistake, sorry.

Either way, 30 damage regardless of the energy cost is not good due to the inability to use the move on the next turn... :(

1) Is Cinccino a baby? and 2) These are not in the BW Series, so we don't know if they are still using them this way or not.

You said nothing has a 0 attack cost nowadays. I was pointing out that there were some cards still in the format that did. Does that mean we'll get more 0 attack cost cards? No telling. Does that mean any 0 attack cost cards we get won't be babies? Again, no telling.

Okay, fair enough. When I said nowadays, I meant current Series. I can see how that could have caused confusion. My point is that we won't know the exact details for Cinccino's attacks until someone posts an image of the english one

I guess I'm not crazy in thinking I'd completely misread the release date...

Anyways, vacationing I saw some theme decks up in Carson City, NV, so if they're in dinkburg, more than likely out in places like Vegas and such.

Snagged up both of them today at Walmart. wasn't at two targets. so that is a YES for Kansas (Wichita).

the theme decks, that is.

Haha, yeah me and my boyfriend snagged them both in Olathe, KS at wal-mart. There's nothing exceptional in either deck, but they are a fun buy in anticipation for the new set if you've got 10 bucks to spare.

We played them against each other though and it was hooooorrible. I had forgotten how horrific starter decks are with their complete lack of trainer/supporter power.

There are a few cards of interest in there though.

Bianca - I was curious to see how this would play, and even in a crappy deck like Power Play, it was really fluid and nice. I think it's better than Cheren for decks that won't flood your hand with cards simply because in most cases you can play your hand down to three cards before using Bianca and draw 3 more cards, which is as good as Cheren, as Cheren simply says "draw 3 cards". If you can play your hand down past that you will end up drawing 4-6 new cards, which is really nice. This is by no means as good as PONT or some of the other draw trainers, but both of these are comparable to some Supporters like Judge or Copycat, and better than Cheerleader's Cheer.

Cheren - nice and clean. Draw 3 cards. Not too shabby. Might be good if you max out your PONTs/Junipers and still need some draw power supporters.

Whirlipede - No one has mentioned how good this card is. Against competition decks, probably not, but in general its just a great card. If you can manage to coin flip your opponent to be poisoned with Venipede, then Whirlipede will hit for 70 damage on turn two, factor in the 2 poisons before and after your second turn and you've done 90 damage for one psychic energy by turn two. Not bad at all. Paired with Roserade, I could see this doing really well for a speed deck.

That's pretty much all that's worth looking at in these decks though. I bought Power Play for the Cubchoos and Beartics. Sadly, the Cubchoo is the lesser of the two coming out. The Beartic isn't that great either, but oh well. 10 bucks for a fun thing to do tonight and some extra trainers and decent supporters for later. Not too bad.

Also the coin is awesome! It has Zekrom and Reshiram on it. It actually seems to flip closer to 50-50 than any other pokemon coin I've seen, and since dice are no longer allowed in tournaments, I guess it's nice to have a cool coin or two. ~shrug~

Edit - AAAAAAAAHH! Whirlepede has 3 retreat cost. I guess he's not very good after all. D:
